If staff positions are not paid / considered a job position, why do applicants legally have to be 18 by a certain date? If its a volunteer position why is it mandatory for the French government to have hires be 18? (Also why does this rule only apply to mod and senti positions and not for any others) Always wondered that thank you for future answers :)

It applies to all staff positions, moderator, sentinel and mapcrew. Teams like fashion squad, helper, funcorp and the module team are not considered staff and therefor doesn't need to be 18. In France it's illegal to have anyone woking for you if they're under the age of 18, as we're staff we represent a part of the company, and even if we don't get paid, it's still a volunteer job.

As far as I'm aware, the admins aren't involved with hires in non-staff teams the same way they're involved with hires from staff teams, since they have no in-game commands that needs to be given access to manually by Meli. Non-staff teams also don't require to be 18 because they don't represent the company while staff teams do.

You shouldn't share your passwords with your brothers and sisters.

they never said they share their password with their siblings
they said they got banend due to their brother hacking
there's a good chance what happened was an ip ban-- which doesnt allow those with that ip address to log in

Once a person is permed they're allowed to then make a new account, unless they're BOS. However should they be sanctioned once again, their ban/mute will immediately start off more severe.

You can buy them through the Steam standalone with your steam wallet.
Also, hi, this thread is only for questions that regard the staff, you can use this thread instead to do questions related to the game.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I don't know where else to go. When my sister and I made our accounts, we made them on the same computer. Is that why we can't trade with each other? If so, is there any way to "fix it" or is our only solution to have one of us make a new account now that we have separate computers... We really don't want to move to new accounts though because we're both over level 50...

Accounts on the same IP can't trade with each other. So even if you make a new account on a different computer, if you are using the same internet connection, you will not be able to trade. You either need to get separate IP addresses or ask a trusted friend to help you trade. Maybe you can send postcards to each other?

Oh yeah, I meant different IPs too, since we've moved and changed wifi, and we also wanted to be able to cheese farm together but that wouldn't work either so my sister just agreed to just use a different account. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It doesn't matter when you made your account, what matters is where you're currently playing from. If you're both logged in through the same network, you won't be able to trade.
