Why 6 days? That doesn't really make it tougher, it just makes everyone rush.

If you make the days shorter, you're basically just making everything more stressful for the artists. I don'think that's how it works, if you want the contest to be more 'hard' or 'tough'

I do agree that making round 3 last six days does make the artist rush and not do their best. I'm not going to tell you how to run a contest that isn't mine but, if I wanted to make it tough for the contestants, I wouldn't shorten the time length. And after all, in the OP, it states that you will have plenty of time (10-12 days) to complete your piece. In my opinion, the category for round three (birthday party) is a hard enough one to draw. Surely for a party, people will want to draw more than one mouse and maybe a whole scene. Six days doesn't really allow for this with the busy schedules many people have. Some might even want to drop out, as they can't finish in time, or feel too rushed. Where's the competition then? We'd be left with no contest really. Maybe you could try something unique to make it harder, such as posting some things that you are not allowed to include in your drawing (Cake, Birthday hats, Presents etc. But not too overboard..) This would certainly make it harder and make the artist have to come up with something really creative. But it's your contest of course.

Yet that’s an opinion, not a fact. At least you lengthened the time for the contestants

As a (bad) former artist, it's safe to say it takes even longer than that. It takes several days on average.

I'd say I'm a bad artist. Everybody makes better art than me but oh well.

I just got two PMs. Tadame is now disqualified from the contest for stealing art for her own entry in round two.

Excuse me? I was surprised to see my entry removed. I did use a reference, but I don't deserve to be called an art thief because I coloured everything myself.

The art was not used for reference but was clearly traced, hence I removed it and messaged Moshimoshiz. Looking at a picture and using small ideas for reference is alright, but taking the whole picture and coloring over it is unfair and art theft, especially if other contestants work hard to bring original artwork. I am sure you would not be happy if you drew a picture or took a photograph and someone copied it and claimed as their own. Let's be fair to the ones who present their real art as it was fairly obvious the lines on your picture and the original were identical.

As I was the one to remove your message and request your disqualification, you are more than welcome to send me a private message in case you wish to discuss this issue any further.
