Instant death? So, would mice fly off the screen, or just die on contact? Because if it's an instant death thing, I think a spike floor would make more sense than 'cactus' floor.

In the style of a cactus ground, I took a stab at making a bootcamp-ish map.

My reasons for making the map was to hopefully show how a ground like this makes every bit of the 800x400 screen count and how some extra threats/new obstacles can be made.

I also wanted to get across why this would need to be implemented.
This map does not work as a bootcamp and neither would any other map using this 'ground'.
For other players you may appear to be stuck at (0,0) if your position isn't updated quickly enough.
Mice will die the second they respawn because of how mice first spawn at (0,0) before on the map.

This cactus ground glitch is not a workaround, we need the real deal.

Most other platformers have some kind of ground that kills on contact and it often contributes a fresh, new aspect to the gameplay. It would also open up a lot of possibilities for map makers in any permanent category. It doesn't necessarily have to have a cactus texture but the core concept of this ground is something that I strongly support.

If I find a map with the cactus ground and I'm shaman, the ground will pop bubbles because I kill rushers on bubbles.

/support, we really need some form of "trap" ground to make the game more difficult. As it is right now, all you have to do is not mess up. It would add some nice variety.
