It's not so much making this easier as it is opening new doors. The grounds conserved using this could allow experienced mech mapmakers to do more too.

Thanks, it sure is possible. Even better, it's not even hard to implement this (speaking from experience)

It would create the possibility to also add a nice mech in complicated art maps, without having to use a lot of grounds just for the mech to work

I blame this horrid suggestion for the death of Rype's glitch and the birth of the horrible debug crap.
It seems similar so this is what I blame for the death of tfm.
