also, are you on a network at home? are other people using the internet on things like xbox tablets or smartphones? not just other computers and laptops?

is your connection wired or wireless? if you are on a desktop and not a laptop i'd always recommend plugging into the router via ethernet as wireless can be problematic

I'm at home! Here is connected 3 smarthphones, 1 Play 3, 1 iPad, 1 Ultrabook and my computer. But, I'm alone here, only my computer is connected.

smartphones if they are in the house are constantly connected, even if nothing is being done on then (trust me i used to work for vodafone) they will use a lot of data all the time and will be putting a strain on your network even when the phone's not in use. I imagine tablets may do the same but don't hold me to that. If you have that much strain on the network it may not be a computer problem at all, simply an ISP one

Man, only my iphone is here. My dad and mummy are working with his smartphones. I'm going to play on the computer of my father's company and see if the lag continues.
