Often translations arent very accurate and could say something really weird... Ive seen how many times a bad translation has came to me and it was really awkward for me because... im dumb sometimes... but anyway... this is a nice idea. if you don't speak the language your friend does, either learn the language or just don't talk to them at all. we already have people ABUSING google translate simply so they can try to speak to BRs, we don't want an Atelier 801-made translator being shoved into the game

You could easily pull up Google or Bing.. and I agree with the others.. why are you even friends with someone who doesn't even speak your language? Also Pinksrainbow has a point

I agree this would be great for convenience, but only really from the perspective of a staff that gets whispers from lots of communities. It really wouldn't be worth it for the majority of players and I've never had a problem keeping Google Translate open in another tab to understand others when I need to.

Its a great idea, its just since English is one of the hardest languages to learn (if youre from a different country that doesnt speak English) so sometimes theres not always the same word in English as in another language (e.g Spanish or Dutch)

Most people use abbreviations and translators are wrong most of the time.
