"Capture the intruder at once!" The alarms blared. "The prisoner is to be sent to level two for further interrogation and detaining. Capture them!"

"W-wait! I'm Tilestone!!" Spade wailed.

"Cheif Tilestone is in his office!"

Spade immediately started to run to the stairs. Monet had no other choice and followed, hissing in annoyance and frustration. Spade yelped and tripped all the way downstairs. Monet stifled a laugh and kept running down.

Monet suddenly thought of something. "Shoot, how could I forget? I can use my shaman powers!" She said. "Wait a second, I can't use them with this band on. It completely nullifies them. I can't get it off!" Spade appeared not to be listening.

"Oh!" He exclaimed, turning around at the bottom of the stairs and summoned a plank to block the guards. Thankfully level one guards didn't have the skill to use cannons or anything destructive, only spirit. The alarms blared even more.

"Prisoner 1337 has escaped to level two with the intruder!" Spade practically dragged an angry Monet down and quietly slipped behind a crack in a wall. "I repeat, find and capture those two!"

"Psst." A voice came from behind the wall. Spade jumped and hit his head rather hard. Monet smirked. The guards ran past them.

"Get me out of here and I can help you." A rather glowy mouse with a rather cool pair of blue glasses peered from the cell behind them. A calm smile graced her face, one that had deceived many.

"Sure." Spade replied instantly. Monet's jaw dropped. 'This guy is too trusting! What an idiot!' The glasses flashed.

"Well, help me out then."

"Who even are you?" Spade asked, squinting a little in concentration. Monet facepalmed. 'Think of that sooner!'

"My name is Bridgette. Unlock my cell and I'll help you get to level seven. Your intrusion was broadcasted over the entire jail, you know." She smiled eerily, silver earings glinting in the dark. Spade summoned a sheep, which exploded. Unfortunately, this attracted the attention of the guards.

"The escapees have been found!" The announcement was made. Almost in slow motion, green-capped guards approached them. They didn't appear to be carrying weapons.

"How did you get in here?" One questioned angrily, stepping next to Spade. Spade thought of kind Luna, and Nick waiting for him.

"I'll die before I tell you that!"

The single guard stepped into his viscinity. "Well, let's make that happen then." He growled. Upon closer notice, the guards' claws were all extremely long and sharp, almost like Spade's knife.

Spade however, thought otherwise. "You don't have a weapon, you can't win." He said in his usual idiotic way. Monet and Bridgette both resisted the urge to yell at him, especially since nobody had noticed Bridgette was out.

He was quickly proven wrong as a light-speed scratch to his shoulder drew blood and a lot of pain. He clenched his teeth, quickly summoned a cannon and knocked half the guards away. They all charged at once. Bridgette snatched an olive-green hat and stuffed it into Spade's bag for future keeping.

The fight was on.

"What's going on?" Cheif Tilestone growled in the level five control room.

"A prisoner has escaped, and an intruder has broken in, s-sir!" The guard squeaked, saluting. "T-they will be captured immediately!"

"This is sullying the reputation of Chaffore," he said, flicking his tail dismissively. "Call out Athena and her jailer team. If things get really bad, I will personally call Sphynx and his elite squad."

"Yes, sir!"

"Things have never been this bad, except when the damn Silver Leopard mouse escaped ten years ago. That was covered up, thank god. Who thought he'd cut off his own legs to get out?"

He mused for a moment before picking up a communicator. "Athena, bring the jailers and await the intruders on level three. The silver-haired one has too great a shaman skill for level two guards but prisoner number 1337: Monet the Siren, is not that big of a deal. Right now." He hung up.

"Now, let's wait."

An awful barking suddenly echoed behind Spade's group. He yelled in surprise and looked behind him.

"Dogs!" He cried, warning Monet and Bridgette. Bridgette bounded out of her hiding place in shock, turning around and swiping a guard dog with her long, sharp claws. Monet was way ahead of both of them, squeaking profanities as she ran.

Bridgette clenched her teeth as a dog suddenly bit down on her shoulder. Any deeper and it would have killed her. Bleeding profusely, she managed to pull away with the last of her strength and raced up a wall, digging in her sharp claws. The dogs growled and barked beneath her while she licked at the wound.

Spade noticed that one of his team mates were missing and whipped around. Air around his paw started to swirl and he reached it out.

Bam! A dog was out cold on the floor. Literally. It was covered in ice that seemed to have appeared nowhere. The others started to flee, tail tucked between his legs. "Finish the fight that you started!" He snarled. A lean mouse walked into the clearing, tucking a blue guard hat between her ears neatly.

"Hmm." She muttered. "What have you done to my poor puppies?" Spade blew the ice off his paw. He had used Ice Punch, a skill available at level 125. Not many mice could get there.

"Get away from my friend," he shouted, shielding Bridgette behind a plank.

'...Friend?' Bridgette thought. 'I only just met you three minutes ago.'
