/NO SUPPORT I have left tfm for 1 year at a time in the past, and I would never want to lose my stats. If it was for accounts with less than a certain amount of cheese, maybe, but if I were to lose my 20k cheese account, I would honestly cry.

I have also left tfm for a good full year, but im still willing to allow this to happen, I love my username I have now//surprisingly// But im willing to let it go. But if you are worried about that then how about this.

If someone is wanting there username to stay and keep on as 'locked' then they will either have to reach 1000 cheese or maby have to pay 500 cheese.

While I think this is a good idea, I would imagine administrators will be against it. People are less likely to return if they know they deleted their own account.

I also saw a post about stats and not wanting to lose them. This makes sense. Maybe what could be done is invent a mechanism of sorts where the time until pruning depends on the cheese/nuts/etc. gathered. So; accounts with up to 1000 cheese (FOR EXAMPLE) can be pruned after a year, then a second group of accounts between 1001 and 10000 cheese (Again, the numbers are as an example, idc what the bar is set at) can be pruned after two years, etc.

This sort of grouping makes it way more unlikely that a once popular account is reclaimed, while still allowing good but barely used names to be reclaimed.

Support, when I was making my account (For Bouboum) I wanted to be 'CookieKitten' but I couldn't cause it was taken and I was struggling for ideas and came up with 'Kittencutez' witch I admit isn't very good, im not even sure if the person with my first username idea is still active

I would be okay with this. I just wouldn't want accounts to be deleted that have a lot of cheese. *Changes no support to half support*

There are people who have left because TFM was getting in the way of their actual life, such as college, or highschool.
They might come back, it wouldn't be right for someone who quit TFM for the right reason, wouldn't they be upset? :<

Sometimes people could become bored with tfm but like it again a year later... It is still a good idea, I have alts that I have forgotten the passwords to...

I went off of tfm for a year so I could spend time with my family and get better grades. If my stats and username would be gone I would have been pissed. Also I get on alts once in a while. But I agree with the delete account button

I didnt say I WOULDNT come back.

I said what if I dont come for one year? I dont want my work to be gone. I would play TFM days after returning. I STILL dont support this.
