A useless event that has nothing to do/ in commun with an in real event?

I highly doubt this happening and I dont really like this, the events TFM are currently giving us could be 10X better.

If anything, you should suggest ideas for a Halloween event. It's most likely going to be the next event released. Usually Halloween or Christmas events are the big events that bring great new things and ideas. But if I'm wrong I'll be very disappointed.

To answer your question, the Fishing event was originally held in April to coincide with Le Poisson d'Avril, which basically is French April Fools (Poisson means fish). Since there are a lot of holidays around that time - carnival, easter - it was moved to become a summer event.

As for this suggestion, apart from it being different eggs with different items and titles linked to it I don't see the difference with the easter event in terms of gameplay. How would this be any different to play?
