Sometimes I just wanna play the game and not talk to anyone, and not get distracted by the chat, and this would sort it out. It would be good if the chat could be toggled on and off (so the chat section is blank) so it gives users control on when they can see the chat Support |

olliethekit a dit : Sounds like an interesting concept. But how would the chat box work would it completely disappear or would nothing just show up? |

/nosupport No way. Chat is important, by taking off chat, you're taking the importance of an online game |

wolfythecat a dit : but wouldn't then most kids not choose the empty chat. I'm sure most kids don't even tell their parents that they play this game... *_* |

I fully support an option to turn off the chat, much like how you can type /silence to turn off whispers. It's a feature I'm sure many people, maybe not necessarily kids, would use. I often find myself afk in room 801 for example, And if I have another chat tab or whisper tab open, I notice that I have received a whisper from another person that hasn't been tabbed. However, due to the spam in the room, I can't go up for enough to see who whispered me. I know I would certainly use it while afk, as I would like to be able to recieve my whispers in peace. I'm not sure how or if a 'no-chat' version of the game of the game should/would be implemented. I do support it, as some parents who monitor their child's online activities might not prefer them talking to strangers. Maybe it could be a new server instead? Seeing as there are servers for many languages, there could be a 'no-language' server, basically meaning no chat for members to opt for if they wish to play the game in peace? /most support Dernière modification le 1417486380000 |

/nosupport If kids play they should be able to turn the chat on and off and they might be sad if they can't chat with other people. They can ignore people who are using offensive language and talk with their friends. Though this game is 13+ I play anyway just to talk with my friends and I don't mind the cuss words that people say in the game. People of all ages play this game and there is no way to stop little kids from playing transformice. |

I suggest Canned-Chat for TFM. There will be a group of phrases and such. First, they will have to confirm their age. Those under 13 will only see and use Canned-Chat just like from AdventureQuest Worlds. Here is more info on how their system works: http://www.aq.com/info/handbook/chat.asp |

/no support I think it would get kind of confusing for others, and I think they might not understand what's going on. Anyways, there use to be a "Disable chat" button in settings, but after an update, it disappeared. And there is already a "Language filter" for kids who are going to play it, they could just turn on/off the filter if they want to. E: Sorry for going a bit off topic...
