you can still quickly "click out" (for lack of a better phrase/wording) the item(s) you're trading and submit before the other person notices.

Currently items are placed in the window then click submit turns your side blue and you wait for the other player to click submit(or remove they item click submit and run off with you item) and your side stays blue until cancel or complete.
I suggest as a easy fix if the other player changes items (ie adding and removing items) both sides unturned blue and both players have to press submit to complete.

I got scammed during the fishing event. The person said he was lagging and glitching, so the thing he was trading kept disappearing and re-appearing, (He was actually making it do that. He wasn't lagging nor glitching.) so he said to click submit fast.. When I did, he took off the item, and I got nothing for a rare relic ._.

Now I remember something from the quote:
In Habbo, when you trade someone, the user puts the Furnis or such and you do that too, but when you press "Trade", it waits 3 seconds and then press "Confirm". I think it's like that, so Atelier could do something similar to that...
