superglo a dit : I'd give a lot to play in 2010 for at least 1 day... Well for myself, I've found Transformice by complete accident. Cause I've never heard of it before, but I noticed a guy in a library playing it.. and since that day when I registered, I haven't stopped playing since. ![]() In my opinion, older players really don't need any spectacular showcase to make younger ones jealous, besides the registration date is on top of every player profile. It might be nice to have every year changing badge that shows how many years we've been on tfm, but again, we got registration dates. Also, this might encourage account selling, 'cause if there would be awards for registering at 2010-2014, people will naturally want them. Dernière modification le 1421520480000 |

I have to say that when I see 2010 players online with low stats, I am often impressed. A lot of them are actually really good and are better than regular players. Whilst I definitely do understand the temper one gets when new players go round acting like they own the place and have no appreciation for TFM's roots, I don't think it's a good idea to have some special item for 2010'ers only. The reason is because it will most likely become a "Class of 20XX" thing which is pretty much pointless and could potentially turn chaotic. Everyone's registration date is already on their profile. Adding titles, items, etc. would not give you much leverage in any sense, to be honest, + quite a number of players have various settings turned off (meaning that they would not be able to see these titles, items, etc. unless they view your profile). Bottom line is if you're the older player and want some respect, act like the seasoned player that you are rather than throwing tantrums at new players or trying to act superior. (We all hate the older brother who thinks he can push you around and walk circles around you in every sense just because he's a year or two older!) |

Neerva a dit : This exactly, It depends on how much you play the game and love it. My friend joined in 2011 and I joined barely 3 months ago, yet I have passed her stat-wise, from cheese gathered, to saves, to firsts........ Mostly because I have absolutely no life, but I really like tfm, Im on every day and draw fanart and everything. When you found the game doesnt really matter because you can be just as advanced as the next person regardless of the day you joined. |

Weeellllll, my current account is registered at around mid to late 2011, but I was actually lurking around during 2010 if I remember correctly ...God, I feel old. I was pretty dumb back then (and maybe a little...no, quite newbie-ish, though I remember picking wj up quickly), and I'd rather not think about the old days. |

Sorry, but I disagree. I think it would make a lot of the newer players feel bad because they weren't around at a certain date and thus they will never be able to get these items/titles/badges. (I know that I wouldn't exactly like that). I've played games that had largely incorporated such systems and I'll tell you; it was god awful to realize there are all these great items that only the people who were around at a certain time were ever able to obtain. Also even though I don't exactly condone the use of the term "noob", just because someone joined a long time ago it doesn't mean they can't be considered a noob/newbie. If someone joined in 2010/11 but still can't really build all that well, wall jump or similar things, are they supposed to be considered "professionals" at the game, just because of their join date? I don't think we should be so quick to judge the skill of other players just by the date on which they had joined, because older players can be bad at the game and newer players can be great at it, as well as vice versa. |

Made an account in 2011. Kept coming on and off. I guess this game is too much fun to put down lol. More fun than LoL and also the fact it's browser. More portable. |

Well we do have titles such as Halloween 2012 and 2013, would be nice to have one for 2011 and 2010, although both of those titles were released at the same time so it didn't matter if you were even around in 2012 you still got the title so I guess that route is useless. Items are also re-released every year so the items we gained long ago can be gained by newer players, we don't have exclusive items from 2010 that make us stand out. However look at the expo items, which for some reason weren't re-released, even way after the event for fraises, which seems unfair seeing as they re-release all other items, they kept those exclusive but wont keep holiday event items exclusive, well uh.. either make all items available to everyone or have some that are exclusive each year/event. The Badge system seems to be a good compromise unless you dislike clutter on your profile, release a badge for each year Tfm is around, 2010/2011/2012/2013/2014/2015 etc etc, someone from 2012 would have that year's badge + the years after, same with all of the other years. In closing, It would be nice to have something to mark the yrs we've played but I also wouldn't lose any sleep if there wasn't, just keep it straight and either have exclusive stuff or don't. FYI I've been around since 2010 and have participated in and completed all in-game events. |
