Gifting without using the primary shop currency is stupid. People don't want to spend money on your shit game. Letting us use our cheese would make more sense in the aspect that you have to play the game to get the cheese, while fraises you could literally log on and waste money on a game in which a person possibly hasn't played in months. It's sad that the game itself in admin perspective has turned into a money making business that can't even finish updates or fix bugs correctly. The game was so much better as a flash game. I'm not opposed to this gifting system but fraises aren't even the original currency which makes them less relevant to spending.

Also you should be able to gift Japan expo items. Just saying.

There's a very simple solution, if it's such a 'shit game', don't play it. Also, I dont know where you've been for the last couple months, but Atelier 801 is in a hole, Meli said in her blog that as of right now, it's barely able to run given it's financial situation. They aren't being greedy, this is because they legit need the money, or, no Transformice, Bouboum, Fortoresse, Neko, ect.

I am sad as well since it's only fraises, but i'm not complaining that the admins should let us gift others with cheese. Seriously, even now I see people just joining rooms and asking others to gift them items, even if it's with fraises. And now, what IF it's with cheese? every room will be spammed with 'GIVE ME A GIFT1!!!111111'.
Don't like it? Don't use it. It's great this way.

I do recall what they said on the Transformice website that the game would never have "advantages" towards the game and that everything on the game would be free somehow and some way. I don't know where you've been these last couple months, but they specifically said that everything on the game would be free. Don't believe me? Here's a direct quote found on this page.

I might have interpreted this wrong, who knows, but what I do know is that they did not go by their word and if they're in need of great money then stop updating and breaking the game and make it worth spending money on.

The only thing fraises do is aesthetic, (Since you dont know what that means I'll paste the definition here: aes·thet·ic, adjective 1. concerned with beauty or the appreciation of beauty.)

They kept their word, fraises only let you dress your mouse prettier, nothing more. Tfm is not pay-to-win.

Well it's not really aesthetics-only, it's a full feature that you can only access with fraises. If you want to give a gift to one of your friends and you don't have a way to buy fraises/don't have the money you're out of luck.

Lot's of kind mause gamers have done it!
And it's a nice kind gesture to give back to the community and those that maybe have less luck getting fraises because their parents don't want to or such.

It is just gifting. While arguably it is kind of disappointing you can't use cheese- it could be a lot worse. All of the shop items can be bought independently, they didn't add like special exclusive gift only items, they didn't change fraise prices to where if you're gifting it is like half off. You're not missing out if you can't gift anyone either, you simply can't give an item away to a friend, big deal.

Now if it were a trading system in which only items purchased with fraises could be traded back and forth- then I would see a problem.

People who like to make people happy would. I know I've given some gifts to people and would give more if I had more fraises.
