No support, I really like this feature and it's really the only countermeasure to farming that we have at the moment. If you want to get more completions and titles, spend more time in bootcamp.

There is no point of staying in bootcamp all day long if you don't have the "skills" to do it.

So either train them, or leave.

When I first started playing bootcamp regularly, I did not expect myself to complete most of the maps. I still played because completing every single map that shows up isn't the point.

I have shown the flaws with this feature and suggested some other ways to counter farming, I fail to see your point. Also, there's more to the game than bootcamp. I'm simply suggesting this so that the people who don't spend their entire day in bootcamp get their reward for completing a difficult map.

We are "currently" discussing would the reward be from attempting or from completing. You can't possibily complete all bootcamp maps in a day when some maps pop in the rorotation 3 or 4 times per hour while some rarely pops out.

For Xenguy:
What do you mean by difficult, do you meam the majority difficultness of bootcamp or very hard bootcamp maps? Like someone said before, you can't really tell apart the P's when bootcamp maps (hard or easy) both share some relationships.

Agreed with the other non-supporters... and...
Bootcamps description in game: "Bootcamp rooms only play the hardest maps of the game. It is therefore intended for experienced players."
Theres no point in Bootcamp, period, if you dont have the skills to do it.

For me, bootcamp is about the challenge, and the fun of completing that challenge, stats shouldnt even matter.
First time I tried bootcamp it took me a lil over a month, trying every now n then, just to get 3...
Eventually I got better, and could easily go for 15-25 an hour if i wanted, and still getting better.
If you truly want those numbers, youll get better, its not impossible, it just takes a bit of effort and time ;)
(If its too hard, try racing till you get better)

I feel you missed the point of this thread. Nobody is denying that bootcamp is hard, nor am I suggesting to make it easier in any way.

My suggestion is to actually give points to the profile of a person per bootcamp they have completed. And unfortunately, not everyone is fine with their profile inaccurately stating they have completed less bootcamps than they actually have.

And thank you for the life story, however if you wish to attack me personally on my 'skills' in bootcamp please take it to message, that's what it's there for.

Sorry if it may have seemed as an "attack", but its an example. You can get better, like the rest of us have.
And personally, it seems more of a better example, if I tell you my personal experience with it.
Others are saying the same exact thing, I just made it more simple.

Adding a room count restriction, wouldnt really help, as most farmers stay in groups of around 5, larger farm rooms rarely go over 20.
Most normal rooms Im in, go way past 30.

It may not be the best solution, but it slows farmers down. Not everyone may agree, but the majority do agree.
I know how it feels to lose that count, but Id rather have the restriction than farmers gaining even more of an advantage.

Though I cant really tell what this thread is about. Removing the restrictions, or a better solution to stop farmers?

Both, the restriction isn't really affecting farmers and is the majority of it's affect is on people who aren't farming. Thus, I'm suggesting to remove the restriction and install a better system for preventing farmers, one that will affect them.

And the reason I'm suggesting to put a cap on room is because if an 'easy' bootcamp map comes on, famers will start calling their friends, thus we end up with like 40 or 45 mice in a room which causes lag for those who were already there.

Another way to stop farming would be to simply put a cap on how many times you can complete a map? So people aren't spamming the 'simple' maps for more bootcamps. Thus, you can complete it 2 or 3 times and after that it will not count.

-----

Angel, please read my post above, I'm not suggesting to make bootcamp easier, simply better ways to stop farming that won't get in the way of regular players. And I can practice all I want but it won't make much of a difference if the bootcamps don't count.

Why do you need to have it count for you to improve your skills?

Capping would be highly unfair to those who actually can complete a map that many times, that arent any farmer, or even a more harder map.

There really is just no fair way of restricting farmers :P
Its just one of those things in life you have to deal with. (This being farmers...)

I'm still convinced that the only way to differentiate bootcamp farmers and the other bootcamper is to add a maps completed stat next to the total completions.
The late restriction works just fine, When I join a room where there is a bootcamp already started that is too hard to complete two times I just try the map and exercise with it. It's not that big deal to wait 3-4 minutes for a new map to start.

The restriction doesn't prevent farming and removing it only affect regular players, it's a no win situation.
