This may sound really dumb, crying over a chicken...

I used to have three pet chickens. One of them got sick after about a year after we bought them. We thought it would go away, just like a cold. A few days later, I walked by the chickens house to feed them their favourite food, Chickweed and Silverbeet. The sick chicken (Clucky was her name) was still slumped in the corner of her house, like she was yesterday. She hadn't moved in a few days. I called my mum and my brother, and told them that Clucky was getting worse. We had to use a shovel to get her out of her house, and my brother dug a holy in the garden in case she died. I began crying and yelled at my mum to take her to the vet, and told her that we could still save her, but she shook her head. I went to my room to read a book and help myself calm down, but when I looked outside the window Clucky wasn't moving at all. I ran out of my bedroom and checked on Clucky. She was cold, and wasn't breathing. I cried, and sat by her for half an hour. Memories flowed into my mind. I remembered the time I tried to put her into her house, but she kept following me when I went into the garden to get food for her, and she always used to let me pet her, and I always trusted her to eat the chicken pellets out of her hand, (although she would sometimes peck my finger :P).
She died two years ago.
But no matter what I do, how hard I try, I can never get her out of my mind. I miss you Clucky.
