/support all the way, the best way to fight homophobia is to not be afraid to show it. You all talk about the risk, but you should look to the future. And it shouldn't matter that there is multiple flags, because the Gay Pride Flag is seen as the general one. It's the one everything started with. I'm bi and I don't wave around the bi flag, because few people know about it. I wave around the gay flag because that's what my community represents. |

Mousechris a dit : Just because you don't wave it doesn't mean everyone prefers to be under the umbrella of the "gay pride" flag. Considering how much bi-erasure there has been over the years I can understand that some would want their own bisexual pride flag. And that's cool and fine. The point I was trying to make was that if they wanted to add a gay pride flag, they should consider the other pride flags as well. And I mean, don't get me wrong, it would indeed be a nice idea and I'm not 100% against it; but consider the cons over the pros. Yes, "the best way to fight homophobia is to not be afraid to show it," but at the same time moderation is already incredibly overworked. They don't need to handle drama, fighting and hurt feelings because a child who has absorbed the religion of their parents has ground into their heads over the years. |

Imo this would be too controversial and would result in 'political discussions' (more like flame wars). I mean would you guys be ok with me waving some kind of Christian flag like this one: ![]() Besides, aren't a large number of people who play this game too young to feel sexual attraction? I'm not an expert on the psychology of sexuality though. |

huggykitty a dit : it's not about sexual attraction at all, it's about love |

huggykitty a dit : Politics play a major part, tbh, but religion also plays a big part. It is very difficult for anyone, at this moment anyway, to accept the changes of humanity. A great deal of time would have to pass before we could call every problem that concerns us to be solved and hatchets of war buried. |

I'd just like to share my stream of thoughts here. I'd like to use it, but I'm already facing all the worst insults just because my account has a male name, it's labeled as female and my looks are both masculine and feminine. Adding new fuel to this situation could bring to more hate than everything else. Sadly some communities are hugely testosterone based, like mine, and "F****t" is a common insult already. I, as a straight adult male, don't mind the insults from those stupid kids, but I've some friend gay in tribe they're really sensitive to this, which avoid our server because of that. Nonetheless if people wants to insult you they'll always find a way to do it, flag or not. Soooo bring that friggin flag to me. In the end /support ![]() /f mu is already my almost rainbow flag for now |

Rotherdal a dit : One day homosexuality will be seen as entirely acceptable and gay marriage will be legalised in all Western countries. And the role of religion in society will have decreased even further; while churches will have alternate interpretations to the certain verses condemning homosexuality. Liberals will be warring over something else (polygamy/polyandry, don't rule it out). But that day isn't today. Today there is still a lot of political/religious stigma attached, even though it's just been legalised in the US. So I personally don't think a children's mice game should be a place to flash about such a divisive, sensitive subject. Staarii a dit : homosexual ˌhɒmə(ʊ)ˈsɛkʃʊəl,ˌhəʊm-/ adjective adjective: homosexual 1. sexually attracted to people of one's own sex. involving or characterized by sexual attraction between people of the same sex. "homosexual desire" noun noun: homosexual; plural noun: homosexuals 1. a person who is sexually attracted to people of their own sex. synonyms: gay, lesbian, gay person, lesbigay; More Either way my point still stands. I'm pretty sure when you were in primary school you didn't get serious crushes on other people. It's something that kicks in during puberty. |

I don't support this, basically for the same reasons Haruhitastic pointed out on the first page. I think it'd be a nice way to support the idea of gay pride, especially since the SCOTUS decision in the USA recently, but the flags were originally only meant for country flags. There are already a ton of issues with people waving other country flags where people get offended, and I've heard a lot of reports of it particularly in middle-eastern communities where there's war right now, but also people crowding German servers to wave UK/US flags, etc. It's not a pretty thing or good for anyone. At that, more people will get offended by gay pride and even though I'm personally fine with it, Transformice is an international community with players from all around the world - not all of which support homosexuality and it's straight up illegal (such as in Russia). Don't get me wrong, I think it's good to take a step forwards and encourage people to be open-minded about these things, but I also think it's important to respect other cultures and opinions even if they don't fit with our views on it in the Western world. |

Shamousey a dit : If you had been rejected by a huge crowd of people for once in your life, you would not able to write that message. I know you are not homophobic but everyone should accept this. |

We must learn to accept people indifferent they have another feeling for people. They are humas like us.Kids must learn to love,to accept, not just laughing when other talks about this subject.I really don't know why this topic is so censored,we are all people,we have all a soul, and we feel pretty bad when we are rejected by the society. I don't want to be(sorry for politics) like Germany in 1945 today,I think you don't want too,so please think big and open your eyes. |

There's a stark difference between not supporting a suggestion for an LGBT flag on a mouse game to prevent moderation issues on an already worn down staff, and Nazi-controlled Germany. |

Some folks need to accept that not everyone supports gay marriage. The principles of freedom of speech and thought gives humans the right to opine their belief that marriage is between a man and a woman. And they have reasons to believe this, they're not close-minded and prejudiced. If you can't tolerate that others have different views, then that makes you a bigot, by its actual definition, not the one attached when the word is thrown about by the PC brigade. Gay pride and the flag has a lot of stigma attached, and some are uncomfortable with it, perhaps one reason being the existence of anti-Christian sentiment in the gay rights movement, and the amount of demeaning I've seen of those holding different views. |
