Yes it is. But not a constant bug i think. I sometimes get messages while i have /silence*, but sometimes not.

This also happened to my friend.

Silence is not bugged.

/silence should only block whispers from non friends whereas /silence* blocks all whispers.

/silence* works for me, so you can use that 1 if you want others to not whisper you.

Both of them doesn't work sometimes. I always use /silence* and some mice are able to send me messages sometimes (not always yes), but i shouldn't get any messages when i'm using it. So yes it's bugged.

It might not be working if that person who talks to you logs on after you disabled the whispers. I'm not sure, but that can be a reason. Same happens with the watch command, cause I see players who come in the room without the effect of watch when they enter the room and don't move, although they do turn slightly transparent like it should be after they move.

In the time more than 15,000 people are online, you'll face it every 15 mins to an hour.
To see it happen, use two accounts and turn on silence either of them, and keep whispering the other one every certain mins.

I've never had anyone whisper me before nor did it work earlier when I tried with my gf. /silence* works for me all the time so far.

By the way, did you just state that you've never had anyone whisper you before? :D So, it is normal that you haven't experienced it. LOL

No I have people whispering me especially 1 person every single day. Sometimes I don't feel like getting whispers so I use the /silence* command and it does work for me. People still whisper me and even ask me why I disabled my whispers when they join me in the room I am.

Silence & Silence* works well for me, i don't see any problems.

If you just want one person disabled, you could /ignore (name) them.
They'll be then added to your ignored/block list in the friendlist window. You can then remove them whenever needed then, from there.

Also note, you won't be able to read any of their messages in the normal chat as well.

I'm using /silence*. /silence doesn't work for me either.

The silence bug didn't happen in the past few days, except for the restart of the community platform at 5:00(France time) still causing it.
I wonder whether admins completely fixed it.

A few days ago (Like a day ago) I had that problem again tbh. I don't even write about it here anymore because no one cares :D
