No! They shouldn't be removed! Events are always something I've enjoyed.

they are getting reworked, to be things you can always buy in the shop/village. They did away with the weeklong grind-fests!

I think events are fun because they give me something to do other than survivor, or vanilla.

Events are probably the reason I have many friends now, and why I enjoy coming on now.

Easy ways to fix problems -

1. Go back to giving consumes with prizes when you win the event map so people don't have to waste tickets on them.
2. Don't participate in events if you think they're too much. The events aren't catered to everyone. Y'all wanted two week events since the Hot Air event, and then you get them and you throw a huge fit. I don't get you guys, you're never happy. I personally love the two week events, spend a week getting rewards and take a week off to get feathers/flags/bootcamps without having to worry about completing the current event.

i totally agree. events should either stop completely or go back to christmas/easter/haloween events only. Then they added in any events they could. "summer" fishing events, april fools, childrens days... and after that they just went for back to back event. me and my hubby discussed this a few years back when i noticed more time spent in events than out of events through the year which devalued every event as they were no longer special but expected.

A801 has fallen into the lazy trap thinking more content = more depth. It doesn't. your content has to have meaning

I agree that we should have more time on events-not all of us have time to get enough tickets or whatever in one week. We should probably have two weeks, instead of just one. I do think we need more ideas, as I like that by getting enough tickets and whatnot, you can get more inventory items, title's, badges, cheese coins, etc.

you know we have 2 week events cos people complained about the events lasting too long when they were a monthish? (or was it 2 months? i remember getting haloween stuff near christmas, and christmas stuff into the new year....) people were all "we're boooooooooored, we got all the stuff super fast!!! why is this boring even still here?!??!?!"

so they cut down the event length yet seemed to multiply the number of events per year.

and now people complain they don't have enough time! XD

this playerbase is a wide variety of players. there's the completionists where as soon as you put up a % or a list they MUST get ALL 100 PERCENTS or TICK ALL THE BOXES ON THE LIST as soon as phesably possible and then help others too.

you have the people who just play along normally and either enjoy or ignore the random event maps popping up

you have the people who don't care at first but after a few event maps where they have a fair chunk of the stuff decide they need the rest when they have little time left....


and all the other demographics i can't think of off the top of my head.

A801 will -never- be able to please all these people. Put long events on for the casuals and the completionists/farmers will complain, make them shorter and the casuals complain. Put too many events on and people like me complain, put too few on and the spectacle gamers complain.... they (the devs) need to just suck it up, pick a direction, and stick with it no-matter how much their playerbase whines.

i agree on removing them, it is so annoying, i am focusing on the consumables and trying to get the events rewards, exchanging them for stuff is much harder than earning them when you win the event map, i like to collect the catrouches but now i just go on to get the title and leave, it will be boring playing an event that is same as a normal gameplay, Events should be special away from the way we play normal transformice, not help the mouse get the cheese and go to the hole while billions of shams spawn objects (thats totally boring) nothing is unique in this current event, It is not even an event ,events are a unique gameplay that is provided by admins to change the gameplay of the game to make the game more interesting than getting cheese and go to hole, I know that this is the purpose of the game , But events are something else.

Nice one Haru. Events shouldn't be remove because it is something that we can do in our free time. Admins should just put events in special occasions. Admins also shouldn't listen the players alot (like you and me). The point of the game is to get cheese, chat and have other fun stuff.

Events suck, but it is a opportunity to earn rewards and stat up..

No, the game is getting old and dull. It needs these events to keep players engaged and attract new comers.

The events are the admin's main way of updating the game and keeping things fresh. If you eliminate the events all together, Transformice will go back to it's original gameplay which is gathering cheese only. If you think about it, how will Transformice keep itself entertaining and updated? You don't want Transformice turning into one of Atelier801's other non-updated games and losing all it's players.

If you have any other ideas for a way to keep Transformice entertaining and fresh without eventually running out of ideas, then sure go for it however the events are one thing keeping Transformice running and entertaining majority of the players (I also know of players who quit because of the events hence the majority)
