How about using commands ?
1:/happy
2:/sad
3:/tongue
4:/angry
5:/amazing
6:/cool
7:/shy
8:/nervous
9:/crazy
0:/suprise

These names are just suggestions and stuff,u don't have to put these specific commands for the emojis,I also suggesting putting the both,where mice who can write fast (as me) can use them easily but mice who prefer the other way (as "Suprodo" 's Idea) or just with the hotkeys/keys in the keyboard can also use them but If ur gonna put the emojis by hotkeys,I really suggest that the buttons (used when being the shaman) aren't the hotkeys chosen for the emojis,I don't want to get confused while trying to use them while i'm the shaman or confused generally,I prefer to use the hotkeys as "F1,F2,F3,F4,F5,F6,F7,F8",u can continue if u want but most other games use until only F8 because the other (F9,F10,F11,F12) F-hotkeys are used for other funcutions as F12/F11 (not sure,don't remember) is used for taking a screenshot of the game :P

how about that we can make our own emojis ? but... It must have a specific amount of votes (yes) to be accepted and it'll be put,if it doesn't have the specific amount,It won't be put

(About the answer I'm expecting that anybody can make many accounts and just vote (yes):
First:the amount will be unreachable with that idea
2nd:It'll be reachable enough and not that high but still high to reach with that idea

3rd:How about linking the email with the account game so if we need to create an account,we must create it with an email so less accounts could be made :P

4th:How about a delete button to the account ? so more names could be used,so when people create their accounts,they don't have to re-think in a new name because the first one is taken while the owner of the first one already left the account (trying to delete it) but couldn't
I don't really advise with the 4th idea very much,it's not that useful

There are enough emojis to express yourself and then there's always the ones you type yourself, like ^^ ^-^ c: :3 and so on.

Typing /happy and so on to me sounds like a horrible idea.
Also, having a 'popup' with smileys to choose from is annoying.

This is my opinion, but I don't entirely agree with option 2. I'm one of the people that like to play and do emojis for example, while walking, wj etc. But if option 2 happens, I can't do that and I'll have to take the time to pull up that lil tab, and select an emote. I'm a fast paced player so that is an absolute pain.

Well I can see that being a problem, at the bottom of the OP, someone suggested preselecting your favorite emojis and putting them as your 1-9-0 hotkeys
