Profiles are already cluttered as it is plus it's not really anyone else's business how long I've been "married" to my soulmate.

Yes that's correct. Or if we could have a toggle like we do for gender! Some people may not care that others know their anniversary date and some who do mind can just not click on it to show

Ash makes a point there, it's kind of unnecessary. And the date would keep changing anyway if you continually divorce/marry. (I'm not sure what point I'm trying to make there because it's always tracing back to 'unnecessary'.)
However, I don't think the celebration of anniversaries is too bad of an idea, if you could just list examples I'll come back and might reconsider.

List some of the examples? Of why it does benefit? Well, it's like Activevirus said, she needs to know how long it's been. Some people may have married someone who is actually someone they really love deeply, and I think it's a cool feature to have. And some people may want to know how long it's been, because not everyone has a good memory.

I know that'd be too much clutter and a littl too public, so instead, in-game, you can use /sm to check how long it has been. I mean, they have it for how long you've played Transformice.. "/time"

Just because other websites have a feature that allow you to see when you married your soulmate (or whatever you're trying to compare), it doesn't mean that Transformice should have the same thing, I don't see any purpose for this implement other than bragging rights and just another command with not a single benefit in-game.
