Maskedjoker a dit :
Ehehehe, i would join but you seem to have so many characters already :O

I will stick with reading and supporting x3

Love it so far!

I'm glad that you think so ^D^
Also, if you feel like creating a character, feel free to, even if I have alot on my hands already x3
I'm always in need of slayers, but even background/side vampire or mortal characters could work too

Bio: Just a normal kid, he used to show his chilled out side before an incident. He trusted someone a bit too much, and they took his trust and crushed it. He has had to move around a lot, keeps to himself. Has few friends, but he would do anything for those few, with limitations. Doesn't really believe in vampires, he has never met one. Not too superstitious pretty much.

Name: Dakri
Eye Color: Silver
Vampire/Mortal/Slayer: Slayer
Gender: Male

Bio: This man has watched vampires "feast" for a long time. He at first took no notice, but then he and his daughter got attacked. They beat him down and took his daughter. He believes his daughter is dead, but she is really just one of them now. (Ooooo~ Cliche shiz) Finally, this man has been through so much, that even though he is within his 20's he look in his 30's.

Raphael's name changed to Jason somewhere along the line and he also became more edgy
The casino was bustling with business. Of course, this was nothing new to the group gathered around one of the tables in the restaurant side of the building, although the two were interconnected. Slicking back his hair, a dark-furred mouse stalked over to join the small group.
“Brunelle.” Donning a trenchcoat and face mostly hidden by long and sleek black hair, a tall mouse nods to the new arrival. The other gathered mice were adorned in similar clothing - darkly coloured clothes that hid any recognizable features. Brunelle, however, was a stark contrast; his face was openly visible, and he was donned in a neat and simple suit.
“Voltaire! It’s great to see you.” The taller mouse shrugged only slightly, looking away from the Rettore heir briefly, his black locks shifting slightly with the motion. If he had to be honest, he would have to say that the dark-furred gambler was his least favorite of the vampire council, but he was (unfortunately) the only one who dared stay in contact with him. And he needed that contact.

-----

A knock on his door alerted Khris from his casual day, and he sighed to himself as he tried to imagine who it could be. He had many friends, yes, but rarely did any choose to visit him on any other average day. Sighing to himself and not wanting to be rude to the (potential) guest, he forced himself past his recent paranoia of vampire rumours to answer the door.
Standing behind the sleek and polished birch stood a blonde whom Khris could only guess was his age or younger merely judging by appearance. His sky-blue eyes were sharp and narrow yet held a faint warmth, and the zebra-furred shaman could only wonder what the blonde youth had struggled through to cause him to harbour such a natural glare.
“Khristopher, Shaman Employee?” The blonde asked, and the addressed mouse found himself nodding in response. The sight of the new arrival was causing him to feel mildly uneasy, but he supposed that there was no threat. He didn’t seem like a vampire, anyway, and very little mortal mice would have any reason to complain about him; he was an all-around nice guy, after all.
The blonde nodded, gesturing slightly to the redhead who was standing with him. “My name is Elliot Cross; this is Scott Hiker. We’re of the Vampire Slayer Society.”
Khris’s adrenaline kicked itself into overdrive. A vampire slayer was at his house - why? Was there something going on that he didn’t know about? He had been checking the news everyday, but was there something he could’ve missed? His brain almost hurt from all the possibities that it had decided to begin to weave in his mind.
The slayers must’ve sensed this, as the redhead - Scott, Khris remembered from several seconds ago - shook his head quickly, holding his palms out in the universal gesture of “woah, slow down.” “No need t’worry! Calm down, pal. We’re makin’ our monthly relay visits.” Almost sheepishly, the older-looking slayer rubbed the back of his neck. “Although we don’t usually knock on doors and stuff, we jus’ wanted to tell ya that some stuff has been going on recently in the forest a lil’ ways away from here with one of the noble families, so ya need to stay away from it until we can figure it out.”
The shaman sighed softly, shoulders sagging with relief. Staying away from Farswallow Woods was easy enough. There was no threat to his life. Everything was fine.
“Take care.” The blonde closed briefly and bluntly, closing the door and turning away from the house to move on to the next, the redheaded Scott following him like an obedient duckling - something he tended to do often, as he despaired to leave Elliot’s side.
Khris sighed deeply, staring at the closed door for an elongated moment. Vampires in Farswallow Woods… Just what were they even doing there?

-----

Sky and Claude were both finding quickly that debunking the rumours that the students of Bathory High had spread was growing to be increasingly difficult. Despite their insistence, it seemed that they had suddenly become the cutest “couple” in the entirety of the small city. While neither mouse enjoyed it, Katsu seemed to find the pair’s struggles to be greatly amusing.
“Why don’t you try to help, you fanged menace?” Claude groaned exasperatedly one day after pulling Katsu into the Janitor’s broom closet to have some privacy and a stern chat with him. It was lunch, after all, giving them both approximately forty-five minutes alone if they were to take up the whole period.
“Well, you and Sky are cute together, so it’s whatever. Besides, it’s not really my problem, is it? Hmm, maybe I could set you two up with matching kimono…”
“Now is not the time to ponder how Sky and I would look in traditional Japanese formal robes.” The servant spat, his tone acidic. He was very clearly unhappy; it almost hurt Katsu to see him in such distress. Almost.
“Oh, just admit it. It would be cute.” Katsu chided nonchalantly, brushing a speck of nonexistent dirt from his scarf. “But if it’s really bothering you that much…”
Katsu could swear that Claude was about ready to cry from either relief or frustration; he couldn’t quite tell.

Ew.

“Anyways, calm down and the storm will blow over soon enough. They’ll get over it as soon as they figure out it isn’t true.” With a wave of dismissal, the Kyuketsuki heir left his servant in the closet, expecting him to catch up as soon as he got his bearings together. Claude soon left to catch up with him.

“Oh, and don’t forget tonight.”

  • Chapter 4
I was going to post this on Wednesday, but I got finished with it early, so I'll post it now. Fog and Katsu chapter cough
Fog had to admit that she was less than enthusiastic to revisit her old terror, let alone head through Farswallow Woods alone in the dark to get there. The twigs on the beaten dirt path underneath her feet crackled as she cautiously stepped among them. She knew very well that she had to make this trip alone and overnight, as Crow and Light surely would’ve insisted on following if they knew. She didn’t need them getting in the way. It had to be alone.
The night stretched on, as well as the woodlands. Fog was unsure of whether or not it was her paranoia causing the woods to seem endless, or simply her fear of being cramped and alone in the dark. However, a nearby light caught her attention, distracting her from her original goal.
“I don’t think that your parents would approve of this, Milord.” Claude’s voice was hardly audible through the groves of trees, but Fog found it easily recognizable after the encounter with Crow a few days beforehand. As cautiously and quietly as she could manage, she started in the direction of the servant-boy’s voice.
“To Hell with my parents.” Katsu’s smooth yet aggravated tone shot back, almost unnecessarily aggressive. “They don’t approve of anything that involves going outside, let alone ancient vampyric rituals.”
Vampyric? Vampires? What is that Kyuketsuki prick doing screwing around with black magic and vampires? Fog’s thoughts distracted her from the fact that the two had gone silent while she was creeping towards them.
“Milord, it seems that we’ve a nosy visitor. What should I do about them?”
“Don’t kill them; we’re not within The Border. Tie them up, I guess.”

Fog barely registered the latter half of Katsu’s sentence before all she saw was black.

-----

When Fog awoke, the morning sun had already risen. Katsu was pacing irritably in front of her, looking extremely irritated. Claude was watching him with a soft yet concerned expression, which wasn’t far from the ordinary when it came to the butler. Needless to say, the now-bound mouse was extremely confused.
“Oh, Milord. She’s awake.”
“Cut the formal labels and help me figure out what the hell I’m supposed to do with her. We don’t even know how much she overheard.” Katsu hated to mistreat a lady, but dire circumstances were dire circumstances, and if she’d overheard them speaking about the ritual they’d planned, then there was a chance it would get relayed to his parents somehow. The last thing he needed was a scolding, especially about ancient forbidden magics. He knew very well that they were forbidden for a reason.
“Right.” Claude muttered, a little dejected at being snapped at. “Well, she doesn’t appear to be a vampire, nor does she necessarily smell like one. I believe that she is mortal, just as we confirmed in school.”
The new information immediately served to confuse Fog, who was still struggling to both understand her current predicament of being tied up and why the most popular kid in the school had kidnapped her. She hardly remembered last night, although “ancient vampyric rituals” was at the forefront of her mind when she’d come to.
“It’s not like we can just let her go. She was stalking us last night.”
“Perhaps take her home for now?”
“Perhaps. We can keep an eye on her there, and I doubt my parents will be home anytime soon, as per usual…”
Fog found that she didn’t have a say in the matter as she was pulled onto her feet and pushed along by Claude, Katsu still looking irritated as he follows them.

-----

The manor that Claude and Katsu shared was large, both in exterior and interior, designed intricately by parents who obviously cared far too much for architecture. It matched Katsu’s over-the-top style of dress both in palette and intricacy; it seemed as though the entirety of the Kyuketsuki Family had expensive tastes.
Fog found herself feeling both small and humiliated as she was led inside and do what she presumed was a livingroom, and she was sat down on a soft velvet sofa, faced by a matching sofa that both Katsu and Claude sat down on, facing her. While Katsu seemed irritable and grumpy (most likely caused by her interruption the previous night), Claude was calm and serene. Mentally, Fog mused that they looked like a “good cop” and a “bad cop”.
“What the fuck do you want?” Not letting her situation get to her, the white-furred captive continued with her usual aggressive attitude. The Kyuketsuki Heir in front of her laughed quietly, clearly amused by her situation as well as the fact that she insisted on being crass.
“Surely you don’t understand your current predicament? Whatever; I suppose it doesn’t matter.” Katsu leaned back on the sofa, kicking his legs up onto the coffee table, crossed. His parents would’ve scolded him for it, but his parents weren’t home; he then thought with distaste about the fact that they were never home, seemingly always making political relationships elsewhere. “We want to know how much you overheard last night. Depending on your answer, you’ll either leave with a promise of secrecy and be alive and well, or dead to keep secrets hidden from more insolent mortals like you.”
Fog stared at them for a moment. Should she tell them what she knew? She wasn’t afraid of death; Hell, head back three or more years and she would’ve begged to be dead. And it wasn’t as if she was in a well-enough situation right now, either. But if her assumptions were correct, these two were vampires. These two mice that she knew were vampires. How many more had slipped into her radar? How many more vampires were directly underneath her nose?
“Are you going to answer, or not?” Katsu seemed both bored and endlessly irritated; he really was the epitome of a teenager despite being of borderline young-adult age. Claude was fiddling with his bowtie in an attempt not to look at her directly.
“I- I did overhear you. At least some of what you said.” Fog mentally cursed herself for stammering. She despised being possibly percieved as weak or shy. “I heard you say something about an ancient ritual… other than that, I didn’t hear much. I swear.”
“Kill her.” Katsu stood up, brushing nonexistant dirt from his pants before starting down the hall. “Bury the corpse in the backyard.”
“Wait, Katsu-” Claude’s voice stopped the aristocrat in his tracks. He wasn’t fond of the times that Claude argued against him (and especially when he argued against him and used his first name instead of his title), but hearing his what he had to say is what a sophisticated and well-mannered master would do, after all. The butler seemed relieved when he stopped to hear him out. “-I don’t believe that killing her is… the best of ideas.”
“Well, what else do we do with her? She knows what we were doing and she could tell somebody. If my parents find out-”
“Your parents won’t find out.” Fog interrupted their conversation with an acidic tone. “For one, I have no idea who the fuck they are, since nobody ever talks about them. Second off, I have nobody to tell, anyways. Crow’s far too daft, and Light would pester me for years to try and figure it out, and I honestly don’t give a shit. Let me go, aristocrat freaks.”
“First of all, we aren’t freaks.” Claude immediately argued in return, and it took Fog a moment to realize that large wings of black leather and blue design had seemingly materialized from his back, and that he was looming over her, his sharp teeth dangerously prevalent. It was almost as if someone had pulled a rubber band too tight and it’d snapped; he had been calm several minutes ago.
“Claude, deep breaths.” Katsu was back in the room now, easing the suddenly-aggressive butler away from Fog. Reluctantly, the Kiernen Heir complied, his flared wings folding slowly to his back and his tail curling in discontempt. Slowly, his aggressive snarl died down to the nuetral, blank expression that he usually wore. Fog - despite herself - was shivering. She had seen that Claude could be aggressive, but it had never been quite as violent as the outburst a few seconds ago.
“Fine. We won’t kill her. Cut out her foul tongue, maybe. But we won’t kill her.” Katsu paced in front of Fog for several moments before seemingly getting an idea, and Claude eyes him in slight confusion as he smirks.
“Have you thought of something, Milord?”
“I have. Take her upstairs.”

-----

After a bit of fumbling with the bound Fog whom was spitting curses, Claude successfully managed to bring her to the vacant guest room upstairs. Both butler and master stood in the room with the locked door behind them and the locked window behind Fog. The white-furred student was seated on the bed, tail twitching irritably as she glared at the two aristocrats. She didn’t like how the situation looked.
“Calm down, Tsukuda.” Katsu approached her, his steps slow and purposeful. “We won’t do... much to you.” He cut through her binds easily and simply with sharpened claws, and the ropes fell around her on the bed. She continued to glare as Katsu roughly pushed her back, dark wings spread wide as he hovered over her. His fangs glinted faintly in the daylight provided by the window.
Claude merely watched, never interfering. It was his master’s decision, and he knew that it would be his responsibility to explain to his parents when they found out about Fog. But of all mice, why her? Sure, she’s pretty, I guess… The butler sighed softly in exasperation. You always did have an eye for girls with attitude. That’s what gives you such poor taste in women.
The smaller figure of the female jerked slightly, signifying that Katsu had begun the process, fangs embedded in her neck. She only had the chance to mutter a few curses before she slipped into unconsciousness and the aristocrat pulled away, grimacing slightly as he wiped the blood from his face with a handkerchief. “Her blood is rather bitter. Strange, considering that most females are sweet.”
Claude retrieved a roll of bandages from the side bathroom after Katsu leaves, tending carefully to the fang wounds on Fog’s neck before repositioning her on the bed and covering her with a blanket. The change would begin soon, he knew, and hopefully wouldn’t be as long nor as painful as other changes that he’d witnessed before. He sends a silent prayer to a God he’d never believed in before leaving the room - and the sleeping soon-to-be vampiress - in peace.

She chose to stay at an abandoned house because she didn't want to encounter the memories of their fighting. She understands a portion about vampires by searching up examples on the Internet (whilst retreating into one of the public libraries and using their computers to drown out real life),

Is it safe to assume that you are going to use the other characters later?
Alex is no where, and neither is beth, and neither is the answer to my earlier post. LOL

yeah, they'll be there later ^^;
I wrote a good portion of these chapters during class, and it was only then that I realized I was lacking a good number of additional characters that I added after the thread was made. I have all of their information in my drive with the rest of the characters now, so they'll be implemented sooner or later. ^^; also please keep in mind that balancing all these characters is a tad bit difficult, and the story is only just beginning ^^;

Understood broski, hence the reason i didn't mind the character weren't in yet. I understand balancing a bunch of characters :')

Name: Gadget
Eye Color: Icy blue
Vampire/Mortal/Slayer: Vampire
Gender: Girl
Age: 18 (Was pretty young when she became a vampire)
Personality: Happy, sometimes thinks she's not a vampire, slightly shy, trys to hide her vampiric traits.
Bio:Was a normal mouse, whose family moved to this town(What's this place called?) In her old town, her family was attacked by vampires, they all survived but became vampires, the whole town knew so they moved, trying to erase their past. Because of the hatred some people have of vampires and the way their old neighbors reacted, she trys to hide her vampiric traits, wearing a scarf to hide the bite wound scar, explaining her unusually sharp teeth as genetic, and not drinking blood too often, to prevent her fangs getting stained. Sometimes she even forgets she's s vampire. Her scarf is pastel pink and blue.

I'm going to do some slight editing on this back story, as she wasn't her for that long yet, and her back story hasn't been mentioned. Is that ok?

That's fine! just edit the original post or this post, or PM me. :)

Character balance is good (right now my story has a bit of jumping around lol, in my opinion, anyways)
I also type it up on google drive (docs)
Its great that you can work offline and the changes will be saved :) (but spelling doesn't get underlined in red)
*waits for next chapter patiently, and works in chapter 10 of my story while I wait lol*
