The furs from the contest are collector items? Kind of false advertising. Tell people they'll win their fur in the shop like it's always been but instead make them available for a limited time. Not really fair to set a standard and then screw it up. I'm indifferent about collector items and furs but if they want to do furs it should be some that they had already planned to be for collectors and not scam the contest winners out of their prize.

Okay, since not ONE but TWO furs are being added as collectors, I now disagree with this system. The admins received the major backlash last year because of them adding furs as collectors and realised their mistake. It seems that they went back on there word once again. Making the item last just 2 days longer isn't going to help anyone collect 5k+ cheese. Its outrageous and wrong of the staff to do that

They were drawn by members of the community, they should remain available to everyone. They shouldn't become collector items and those who designed them may be against having their furs hidden from the newer players and would rather have them available forever

You're always free to buy fraises if you can't collect enough cheese in time to buy the furs. If you don't want to do that, well, then better luck next time. The world won't end if you don't manage to get them this time.

Sure let's have them in about 7-8 months later or an year later although we wouldn't be playing the game anymore cause lack of activity or something else that made us leave it. People shouldn't be forced to buy something from a limited edition if they like it or not. How could you see a person that recently joined the game and sees the fur and wants to buy it but they can't? They can't even buy fraises cause their parents does not allow them to unless they are spoiled and then they will be able to buy as much as they wish but obviously you can't see plenty of people like that in the game.

My only problem is that Meli is trying to save the game in a way that's not going to work out. You won't get enough income by forcing people to buy fraises to get these items. It just shows that they are trying to gain players and income and put the possible least effort in that. And that's super bad. Instead of shop items, they could focus on new events, new in-game systems such as marriage stuff and maybe something for the tribes.

I am sad to see the game fail the way it does, but it won't be saved by shop items, and definitely won't be saved by collector shop items.
For me, at least, this is what exactly pushes me away from the game.

Another problem at A801 is the low amount of ideas they have for the game. For Elisah's sake, search the idea section of the forum admins :P You can find many great ideas there that would attract players. Don't care about the time it will consume to make that idea come true; PLAYERS SUPPORT STUFF BECAUSE THEY WOULD LIKE IT IN GAME.

and if you are really going to just add shop items and do nothing else, the shaman items haven't been updated since last year gardening *winkwink*

Man I can't get my friend's fur. She can't even get her own fur. What kind of standards are being set for contests? Don't promise a prize and then immediately take it away. If you were going to make second and third prize collectors items it really should have been specified.
