Nothing wrong with a good job or thank you. If you add a <333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 just to greet someone or say thank you you're being loud. It's generally considered obnoxious.

Whenever a shaman gets 4+ saves I whisper them and say something along the lines of "Good job, you got a good amount of mice saved" IN PRIVATE.

Same goes for someone gets first, I say in whisper "Gj you got first on map (Example)"

Nobody ever hears me say something like "gj" or "ty" in public chat unless if the shaman/ player who got first has their whispers disabled.

I wish people did this more often, instead of blurt it out and rub it in everyone's faces.

I only really say gj if someone I was chatting with levels up or completes a hard map that they were struggling with. I don't get people that say gj to every single first or people that spam it.

Yeah I always see some first farmers going "GJGJGJGJGJG PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" in vanilla, but I'm fine if they just say "Gj."

It doesn't really bother me unless it gets spammy. In my opinion, if your friend is a pro who gets first nearly every round, you don't need to keep congratulating them. It's also a bit annoying when people are like "GJGJGJGJGJGJGJGJGJGJJ QTQT BBBBB<3333333333333333333" every few minutes.

nobody really says gj outside vanilla rooms (why even? vanilla is 99% having the lowest ping) but i do feel smug when someone whispers me angrily or some nob padders leaves the room because i keep being first

I mean, it doesn't really effect me unless, as others have explained, "GJJJJJJ OWO GGG BAB!" etc, then I could see blacklisting them.. because there isn't really a reason to flood the chat like that. I don't see that sort of stuff too often but when it happens it's very irritating and I wish the people that do it would reailze that they might be annoying players other then themself.

A simple "gj :)" or "ty :)" isn't what annoys me, its when people spam it/make it lengthy, especially when it's people who are constantly getting firsts because then it's not even necessary to say it more than once. It's like they're lowkey trying to annoy other players and rub it in their faces imo.

Ngl, I've done it before with a couple of my friends but it was privately bc I knew it might annoy people. I don't see why others don't do the same thing... unless they really ARE trying to be annoying. I move to another room or blacklist people whenever I see it =_=
