I guess if you are here, it's because you like this game so where is the problem if they try to get money to keep their company and transformice alive? If they don't have enough money, you'll have nothing to complains about because transformice would be closed.

Hello Mquk, I appreciate your response to my comment. Generating income is never a problem and the business model seen here that Transformice uses is barely any different from any other free mictrotransaction-based games would use. As you implied, income is a necessity for both the player and creator's sake. No reasonable person would object or criticize a company trying to benefit from their labour by marketing their products. The issue however, seperating what is deemed acceptable or not, and thus garnering our complaints,) lies not with generating income in and of itself, but rather the method of generating such income.In this situation, Atelier's pushy advances with collector items comes off as arguably dishonest or deceitful to some players. By creating multiple "limited time offers" in a row, players will feel tricked thinking their recent/previous purchase was considered more valuable because of its alleged rarity based on limited time constraints, only for them to see another batch of "collector items" again. A real life example of what Transformice is doing now would be analogous to a brick and mortar store that constantly goes on a big "blowout closing sale" week after week, despite having no intentions of closing. Many of us would argue that this type of false advertising to trick customers by creating a false sense of urgency is unethical. Melibellue herself in a discord post mentioned that "Transformice isn't going anywhere soon", despite Transformice's playerbase dwindling steadily since 2012 and Atelier's future appearing "unclear" with "few options open to them". Argue as you wish, but it doesn't seem irrational for many players to feel upset over the current status of the game and the collector items, considering that much of Atelier's resources were diverted away from Transformice with few updates. Many of us feel like it is their last cash-grab attempt before ending Transformice, thus explaining why it is understandable that some players including myself do not feel inclined to invest anymore money when Transformice's end draws near, especially when they could improve the game to keep players from leaving instead of pumping out furs for the most short-term income.

Wrong. I spent more money when all furs were available to me than I do now that there are limited edition furs. The problem is us PAYING PLAYERS pay for furs because we have jobs. However we spend most of our time working that when a new limited edition collector item comes out it may not be within range of payday and that is why we loved having NON limited edition furs because we can buy/gift the furs we want without having to wait for that fur to be rereleased again. Alienating your players with a $5 fur (especially when a huge portion of these players are kids who don't have jobs) is not a good move. And cranking the price of the fur so high in CC would take longer than the amount of time the item/fur was in the shop for us to farm for it.

And I agree with Tiger. TFM, your cheese currency needs a better conversion rate. You can't even find a decent tail item in the shop for less than about 800 cheese.

Let's look at the Star tail item for example. Its 80 fraizes or 800 cheese coins. That means the conversion for this item is 1 fraize = 10 cheese coins.

Then you have the Heart tail item for 150 fraizes or 1000 cheese coins. The conversion for this item is 1 fraize = 6.66 cheese coins (if you want to round than its 7)

OR The sundial tail item, which is 150 fraizes and 1500 cheese coins. 1 fraize = 10 cheese coins.

so the sundial tail item is more expensive that the Star tail item in fraizes, but has an equivilant worth in cheese coins conversion. It also has the same worth as the heart tail item in fraizes, but has more of a CC conversion worth, and is more expensive in cheese coins.

This. Currency. System. Needs. Fixed.

Same, I spent more money on this game when every single item was available, this collector thing is just complete BS, more items available at a time = more available choises = more reasons to spend money, now if you miss something from collector you have to wait months for that item to come back and by the time it comes on sale, you usually just don't want it anymore (at least that happens for me and some of my friends) And for those saying it's because people are going to buy limited edition items faster, that's BS too, if I can and want to buy something, I do, if I don't want to buy something, I don't and no label like "limited edition" won't change my mind, collector was removed once because it made no sense, what changed so much that now it does? This game is dying and no bs ideas like collector are going to change that, I'm not going to spend money on this game anymore because of how money greedy it's admins are now

Also, what about all the new players wondering where to get these items when some mice have them and they aren't in the shop? They feel like they already lost their chance to be equal and it's not making the game any better

And before everyone starts to say that it's the only possible way for this game to survive, it's not, it survived 7years perfectly fine without collector (not including this year) and even when they tried to put collector in like 2016(?), it was obvious that it's not changing anything and collector was removed but now it totally makes sense somehow
I hope this game gets what it deserves and the sooner the better, sincerely, ex-player

^ and on THAT note, after the update today the items on sale changed. Neck 34 (picture above) was changed to Neck 35.
There was another balloon on sale as well, which got changed to the Earth tail item.

I'm pretty sure one of the things we aren't allowed to suggest are any ideas that would make it unfair for all players! So I agree, putting in a limited time fur that newer players won't (and didn't) have a chance to grab would be considerably unfair.
