there is a password function both for private and public rooms that you can use, as long as you are the one that has created the room.

you are already given complete control over who can enter by using passwords

unfortunately this control doesnt mean anything, if somebody who isnt welcome join in my room, i cant kick him. the way this happen doesnt matter, if we got this option, it will be nice

actually, it does mean something. The /pw command allows you to set a password for a room, if you're the creator. there isn't any way for any unwanted people to get inside a pw protected room unless they get seriously lucky and guess the pw, or you give it to them. If you mean someone unwanted joins your unpassworded room, then that is your fault. there is a /pw feature for a reason...

the fault doesnt matter, if i created a room, i gotta be able to kick.

my lord

yes, it does matter. if you made a room and forgot to use the /pw command to secure it, therefore its your fault. i don't even see a need for this suggestion at all, honestly. just remember to /pw your room if you don't want anyone unwelcome joining it, simple as that. literally you could just do /pw 128312813 and no one will guess it in a million years

edit: i'd love for you to explain why you need to kick? i've already covered the point where you can just /pw the room. if you forget, its your fault and you can always move to another room, its not that tricky tbh

guess its so obvious, i wanna kick hackers or favos, cuz the command /ban is useless. nothing about losing the pass

I understand the frustration but I have to be honest. Coming from an objective perspective, I think that this would give too much power to the wrong individuals who create private rooms to VPN farm or statpad with friends and while statpadding in private rooms aren't necessarily against the rules from what I know (VPN farming is), giving the power to remove anybody you want from a room is a little concerning to me. I think that having a password for your room is enough because I see Transformice rooms as a public space where if the room has the potential to show up on the room menu when the room doesn't have a password associated to it, it is then considered to be public space for anybody to join.

VPN farmers dont care about being able or no. the pass in those rooms is aleatory and theres only one person who owns all accounts, nobody goes there.

I think it's a good idea. If you can do similar things in utility, you should be able to do so in private rooms as well ^w^

Exactly this. The suggestion that people would get too much power or abuse this kind of feature is exaggerated since everyone is free to choose to play wherever they want. People should not be forced to play with players they don't want to play with regardless of the reason, just because they happened to know the password to their private room.

you're completely skipping over my point of using /pw

trufflerux makes good points. /ban isn't useless but it's not that useful at the same time. for the last time just use /pw it can be complex or simple its still hard to guess either way

if you're worried about hackers and favos, then worry no MORE! /PW!!! if the hacker/favoer is your friend, simply move to another room, redo the /pw and reinvite your friends except the hacker/favoer.. simple, not much trouble at all. also what? what do you mean by "losing the pass" you can always recreate the /pw at any time, so yeah.. and its really not that obvious tbh. your reason for adding this in my opinion is sort of vague

It can be quite a hassle to make everyone move rooms just to avoid a certain player. Having to move an entire crowd over just one or two people is just ridiculous. It's much less of a hassle to simply be able to remove those who shouldn't be in the room.

i see your point there however it isn't that much of a hassle as you'd think. simply whispering every person the room name and pw should do it, though i can see trouble if they are people not on your friendlist. i guess i'll change to a /halfsupport as you make a fair point

You'd still be dependent on other people to keep your room clear from unwanted individuals when in reality you shouldn't have to be. Why else would you make a private room in the first place?

Of course it is a /support
When i enter private rooms i often have stalkers who enters instantly to the room before setting a PW. Also if the room from the beginning was official and you then want to make it private with for example your best friends in, a kicking option is essential (unnecessary having to change room just because no kicking command is available)!!

ALSO, the BIGGEST reason to have a kicking command in rooms is because of all the hackers in the bigger rooms with +50/100 mice. In 2019 there will ALWAYS be a teleport hacker stealing all the firsts, and not being able to kick it from the beginning is very ANNOYING (/ban command takes too long and the hacker will always come back easily!!!) You still want people to join the room so it grows bigger and gets FUNNIER, but you also want to KICK the HACKERS who always are teleporting just to destroy the feeling and atmosphere.
It’s such an easy command to fix, and would really make the game much better! Stop being lazy and just fix it, you know its needed.

^ It seems a bit more necessary, now that Transformice shows rooms with a single mouse in the rooms list. People come in instantly, even if you're intending to AFK, unless the room name is preceded by an asterisk. /pw doesn't play a big role here.

To be frank, I'd rather change the whole system to let those whose names are included in the room name to get full control of the room, but giving the first mouse to come to the private room the ability to kick seems much easier for now.

I understand where OP might be coming from, as even though you set a password and invite friends, one friend may pass it onto another friend, and that one onto another, and then eventually the room might become not what you wanted, however you could just simply say that they're not allowed to bring any friends into the room as it'd make a fuss & create chaos, but if that ever happened then yes, you should be able to kick people if you had created the room.

I agree with Anythin and I think that if people start to abuse it somehow (which I don't know yet how it can happen), there will be enough riot and there will be an additional change, for now, I /support
