I started noticing the decline in 2014 or 2015. I'd say everything Bisharch said is pretty accurate.

The events were the most fun thing about the game (as well as the community which is pretty bad right now), as well as the declining popularity of browser games and the death of flash. It's natural for the most part, but the devs could have definitely done better. The same maps being here for years didn't help either.

I disagree. Browser games actually are making a comeback with HTML5. In fact, many HTML5 games (usually singleplayer) exists for both mobiles and browsers platforms.

I agree, but the fact that people call this a dead game is part of the problem. If you don't stay for the game, make'm stay for the community. Unfortunately a lot of people see being a negative downer as "entertaining" instead of just doing what you're supposed to in games; have fun.

I KNOW RIGHT?! That's the problem with people these days - there's no new players because all of the current players are so hell-bent territorial against the new players and keep them from having a good experience. I totally agree with your statement.

I'm not entirely sure about this. But there must be an obvious reason if the "game is dying/dead" theme is keep being discussed and brought up. Remember. The community revolves around the game, not the other way around. Else, it's gonna be just another 4chan community with lotta trash talking and memes.

I totally agree. Many old players are so rude to new players. Whenever a sham doesnt do a really good work then the entire server starts cursing and insulting and also writing ./ban (random player nickname) and the cafe, its also very toxic.
