Because : You should spend more time about your name choices then before buying a name change. The price helps to make people think about it before just investing in a name they might not dislike in another 2 months (By the sound of your suggestion anyways). Furthermore I can't imagine that lowering the price is gonna fix the issue, its just gonna escalate the demand exponentionally.

what you said makes no sense too. you agreed to a person who stated that someone that doesn't like username should just deal with it, which is the opposite of what you're saying here. just keep in mind that names aren't accessories that can be replaced on a whim.

Why is your name so relevant? Like, you can call yourself ABCDEFG if you want, it'll be kind of dumb, but unique. I don't see any reason for cheaper name change

You should still pay for the name change, except it is RIDICULOUSLY expensive right now for no reason. Name change, I believe, is so much less popular (less income) than what they get from the in-game aesthetics. I guess it could also be a way for them to earn some EXTRA with people much more commonly changing their username hence they no longer would be so expensive. Let's be honest, with the age range on this game, how many people are actually willing to spend so much to get their names changed?

Grinding fraises in game? Given the fact 20 quests give 20 strawberries and the name change costs 1500, it requires to go 75 times through the whole cycle. That will take an eternity.

name changes are ridiculously expensive and they'd profit way more by lowering the price so more people will be inclined to purchase a name change. by the way things are looking right now, it'd be very difficult for someone to save up for that amount in a reasonable amount of time. while i don't think it should be as low as 500 either, it shouldn't be as high as 1500.

Why? The first name change is for free and now you could decide on any name since there are tags. Just because you don't like your name, that doesn't mean you'd have to whine why it's 1,5k fraises.
In the end, everything is by your own decisions.
Just be happy there's a name change option otherwise some people would start being angry why they can't change.

I think this price is rather average considering the amount of fraises required comes out to around $10-$15 which is also the average price of username changes in other games as well. Your username is a sense of identity which attributes you as a certain registered player in the game with an in-game history and all, a username isn't a change of clothes that you feel the need to switch up with every week.
