You might all be happy to wait for the next contest, right? Well I'm afraid there won't be any contest for a while. There has been a lack of interest by map crew members to help out with the contest. You can litterally count the number of people dealing with shortlisting with the fingers of one hand. This has been going on for a few contests now, and it's just a big mess dealing with so many maps with so few people. I myself lost interest in organising the contests, because there's so much work to do and nobody to help out.
In the future, if a few active map crew members want to bring back the contest, they are free to do it, but in the meantime, there won't be any contest held by the mapcrew for a while.
