| To be fair, pretty much every artist on the forums (or at least half) leave out the whiskers. I find the whole whisker thing a bit nitpicky, if you don't mind me adding e3e |

Ponydoll a dit : Smoother lines as a bonus. Do you have brush sensitivity? |
| 0 | ||
| Yes, if I move my brush too fast it smears. |

shardpixel a dit : I agree. I myself just leave out the whiskers because I think it kinda looks better without them. At least, to what art style I'm going for. |

shardpixel a dit : Yeah i guess, i think they can just go without adding whiskers, their style. Have some trash sketchtoy art, dumping it here to see if i can get any critiques, go as harsh as you want. http://sketchtoy.com/63303791 |

Lordfuzzy a dit : hm... alright, this one is abit nitpicking, but you should crop your image. there alot of blank spaces. Well, good thing is that it is convient for my red lining down here v ![]() Alrighty, there is alot of mouse head references there, which i did a demo at the left. About the body, i did 3 different versions of it, Rat, Human and Mixed. why did i do that? Well your mouse has a human-ish anatomy. So i mean instead of just doing that though i decided to do those 3 versions. Is for anatomy practise and 'style' choice. Science notes: Anatomy is not a style, you need to understand it like maybe 60%. You have to know that there are muscles in your character and how big it is can determine its mass, size etc. Which these you can fix its centre of gravity point and inertia. (Science!) After understanding, you can make your own anatomy. Is up to you. So yea.. |

Ponydoll a dit : The right ear is pointed because it was drawn from a side, but I guess that can be confusing.[ Dernière modification le 1413255180000 |

Daisylol a dit : i just noticed you were trying to draw your mouse with tfm style(?), so sorry if mine is too realistic or anything! ;v; ![]() also, it looks a bit too fat :DD xnelacatx a dit : and i drew only the ears, because people were apparently talking how you should do them: ![]() +could i get some critique on this one? ![]() |

Chawee a dit : hm... not sure if you thought about it but you may have felt the body is alittle awkward right? There are reason why they are like that. I kinda just did a small analyse of the errors i feel is wrong ![]() 1stly your body is actually already deformed, the turning point of the body is already off (the part where i did a stitch thing.) There was also this small lump of on the body which i put an "?" on it. Overall it actually kinda look chubby for its size. 2ndly, the angle of the back limbs and the left front paw is off. the overall picture shows the canine running towards us, but the limbs there are almost towards the really left, like something you would see in their side view. This is one of the reasons that also makes the body looks deform and small. Same for the snout. The head angle is at one angle but the snout is tilted off to its left. So yea.. anyways i did a redline too ![]() Sorry if i sound too harsh on this :c |

Fierying a dit : thanks for the critique! ;u; and now i noticed, that the head looked weird because the left eye's placement was kinda odd :D also, here's a picture of a dog's chest if you weren't sure what it should look like: http://www.sovranacanecorso.com/CaneCorsoFia1.jpg |

![]() Well i can dot off a few problems here. the redline is rushed and may not be fully accurate First off, the head and neck. The head just seems to be... dangling off the edge of the neck. Try making it much more bulkier and thicker. Also the ears are too pointy. Wolves have a curve on the tips, and the ears are not that long. This is a bit of a nitpick, but the eyes are a bit too long and strange, if you're aiming for more realistic, the eyes would be more circular i noticed the part of the skull by the eyes seems too suddenly pointed. Try making it more smoothly if you get what im trying to say, the nose is slightly too triangular but thats also a nitpick the dots by the nose are everywhere. A real canine would have it in rows. i think the lips need to be more baggy at the end but my personal view of it sorry if this is not a very constructive critique and is basically nitpicking im not good at critiquing |

| Alright, thanks~! That of the ears, I’ll round them off next time, but there are wolves with longer ears. And I wasnt aiming for the realistic eye look ^-^’ Thank you though! I’ll keep that in mind |
