Though, from the image, it looks more abrupt? I mean the curve? And what I was trying to do with the front paws was make it look like the cat was backing away.. :P Thanks anyways~

Can someone criteque this drawing before I do anything more?

i did this really quickly so i hope the anatomy is good enough ;A; i didn't do much changes tho, the main things were the legs. the back leg seems kinda weird, and the front leg's elbow was too low. and i've seen the same thing in other people's drawings a lot, so i drew a couple front legs to the left. the first one's elbow is too low, and the second one's the corrected version. i think those were the only big mistakes i saw + this one's really only my personal opinion, but it try to avoid doing big or small ears, tails, paws.. etc. otherwise your pic was pretty good :D

and could someone critique this one?

^ Yeah I agree that the elbow was low. The back was odd because what I was trying to do is the back slightly turned to whoever is looking at the image and the head looking over the shoulder, or only slightly turned so that the head sideview is visible. The big tails thing is something I rather like doing, even though it is incorrect anatomically. And that of big ears I never notice since they look small to me xD I need to work on that a lot. Thank you!

@chawee, i dont have much more to say than it looks like it may fall down on its side any second. Also, idk if theres any reason why the tail is pointing to the side, unless its wiggling its tail (which most dogs only do when theyre happy, and that one doesent look very happy to me).

If that's supposed to be a mouse, it's way too fluffy, and the tail shouldnt look furry. Why is there neck fluff?

If youre going to keep making excuses why should anyone bother to critique you?

Your sketch, the mouse is way too fluffy. Their fur is usually thin and fine and really smooth, they're not that fuzzy. I know Vulli draws fuzzy mice, but he also learned to do the thin, fine fur first.

The ears look like cat ears. They're supposed to be round, and big or small (depending on the individual mouse). The one ear sits unnaturally, it's on their forehead.

Mice also don't have manes.

i'm not good at red lining so i'm just gonna say try putting the feet up in the air (if it's sitting) and have the feet round. Then add the lines in the feet for the toes :3

I'm not very good at critiques since I could use some myself, but I need to point out that you're drawing mice with canine/feline traits.

i.e. the head shape, ears, and the fuzzy fur. Mice have very neat hair that stays smooth.

Also that "mane" you call it is not an excuse if you want it to be correct. Mice don't have any extra fur on their necks, period. You always draw a lot of fur around the necks of anything you draw, and it's just not right.

Im not making excuses at all. Dont jump to conclusions. It is a sketch. I brought it here beforehand so when I made it with smoother lines I would have less anatomical problems. Yes I’ll round off the ears, and ok I’ll take away the damn mane.

Same here about the “Fuzziness”. It’s a sketch. And fine I’ll take away the damn mane.

I'm not trying to be mean but if you're going to act belligerent when people offer critiques, then stop wasting time, both yours and the people trying to help.
People try to help you and you make excuses or act rudely.
Rule 3: Do not throw a tantrum or pick a fight if the critiquer gives you harsh comments.

But that is an excuse. You come here seeking an opinion, we tell you what to change. You tell us "it's just a sketch." So? Use it for future sketches then.
Whether it's a full blown piece, a sketch, or even only a skeleton of a piece; that's irrelevant.

I only got annoyed because they said it was ‘Far too fluffy’, and Im not talking about the mane, when it was just the sketch lines that made it ‘fluffy’. They ignored me when I said the reason for the fluffiness was because it was a sketch.

May I also say that it's better to put full art here or at least lineart rather than an unfinished sketch
