@2539042 - Karimthebest. ![]() First off, I think you should switch the hole and cheese, and make mice spawn on the cheese. It'll make the map harder then it is right now. It may make it a bit unfair for the newer mice but I feel like the maps already too easy. The brown arrows I thinnk you should add chocolate to those sides because mice are going to have cheese and be a bit heavier now, and for the yellow arrows I think you should add 5 pixels to that ice's rotation making it so mice can't run up it. Making them have to walljump up. Lastly. I think you should choose a different ground then sand. Sand and ice are both pretty bright colors and kind of blend in when only a few pixels of it are showing. Maybe try a darker color ground or use the customizable color grounds (Rectangles). |

Dddin's aesthetics tips Dealing with fat ice ![]() Please try not to use too much of the kind of ice on the left. Change it to the right instead. (Swap the length and width and rotate it 90 degrees) -- When dealing with many big ass ice grounds You'll see that big ice grounds don't go well with each other. Align them with grass or stone instead. Too short. In P7 maps, wall jumping are to be kept to minimum. Your map is 99% wall jump. I'm not sure about racingminigame's judgement for this map. Add the grounds I drew in. Makes the map a little longer (and more biased to the left, which is good.) Try to add more parts to the map. Lul. |

@2844100 P9 - Wangos. ![]() I'll start off with the white arrows. I think you should put 10 pixel L and match the H of the wood ground with ice, having it only stick 5 pixels out from the wood though. This kind of makes shaman have to build up/out a bit more. The brown arrows I want you to add again 10 L and match the hieght of those ice grounds with chocolate, once again having only 5 pixels stick out. This makes it harder for mice to fall through but the mice can also get back up after getting cheese and try and cornerjump the ice to the hole. This way being faster and also rewarding to those who can pull it off. Lastly, the orange arrows is where I think you should add 20 L 10 H chocolate with only 5 pixels sticking out of the ground. This makes it so if the mice mess up there cornerjump, they can't just easiely get over to the wood ground over there. They would either try them selves and most likely die, or wait for the shaman to help them. Which of course makes the shaman more useful. @2916595 P9 - Arber. I don't have very much to say about this map so I won't be posting an image. I think you should add some friction to the lava to make it easier on map. I know that may defeat the point of the map a bit but it doesn't need to feel like a bootcamp for normal rooms. After you get cheese the map gets a bit too difficult. Either way, I still feel even if friction added to the lava, the map would still be kind of hard, and still require shamans help for newer mice. @2887852 P9 - Starshipbay. Again, not very much to say and doesn't require a image to review. I only have 1 thing to say about this map really since I feel like it's alreadyy been edited once. I think you should add a roof instead of just the infinit walljump till you go off screen and hit an iceground. That can cause a lot of mice to fail and i'm pretty sure that corner jump back is near impossible which is okay. @2916731 P9 - Starshipbay. (Not a Review). I don't feel like mice can solo this and it feels more like a shaman map to me. I'm not sure of what you can do here other then make the map a bit easier. @2904934 P9 - Starshipbay. (Not a Review). I feel like this is more of a P4 then a P9. @2892303 P9 - Starshipbay. It's not a good idea using ONLY shaman items for a map. Shaman items can sometimes spawn in late and since your map is made with only them, it would kill off all the mice if this happened. I suggest remaking the map with normal grounds and such because the planks already do so for wood ground etc. For the balls you could use circles. @2897174 P9 - Asquerit. (Not a Review). I quite like the mechanism you used here, it's simple and gets the job done but.. I'll have to run this by one of our Mechanisms reviewers to see if they can improve it in anyway. Can you make them same height and same width thanks ALIGN EVERYTHING The concept revolves around CJ, pegs, and TA. I don't like them I'm sorry. I've asked several members of this group if it's ok for me to review P11 maps aswell. So far, i've asked 6 members, where i've gotten 6 yes. If someone in the group do not want me to review P11 maps, please come to me, ok? C: As for now. Zakros - @2889767 First thing i noticed, was the teleportation system. It’s great, though it got some flaws. The names are barely visible above the tubes, and it can easily be a good hiding place. The upper and lower tubes, are also a bit obnoxious. You have very little control when falling down, as you can’t even see yourself. The walls are also a bit gameplay destroying. The background is a bit too light-ish. So i suggest making it darker, possibly with a shading effect. Make sure they don’t blend in with the tubes. ![]() Blue : Remove these walls and roof. They don’t really do anything, and the fact that the stone walls are ice, is just not good. Red : Remove these cheese. It’s too many, and block of way too much of the map. Purple : I noticed on the lower tube that the blockage and opening is very odd. Having the purple areas completely open, whereof the non purple are grounds, would make it a bit easier to understand. Yellow : Removing these light green grounds, would maybe be a good thing to do. It’d make the mice visible, when they’re inside the tubes. Pink : Add extra grounds here. This is because right now the map got very few places to ‘stay’ at. Orange : Why is this tube in the front of the stone? Not pretty. Making the Z value on the tube lower would work To finish of the review, i suggest adding a few flower-grass decoration, to make it look a bit smoother. |
