Thank you Dddin for reviewing @2840737. I've had troubles with this map and not even getting P1 on it...Which I think is strage, tyvm. Well I fixed it up but I have to ask one question, is the grass out of place? And now the res is 1.8 as opposed to 4, and there is still a luck aspect which is why in the original map, you could go faster if you risk it going under the ice, but you were sure to get through if you used to choco to balance yourself on the trampoline and just walk on it. But I think it's a little better now, so I'll resubmit it this last time and then submit it to racing. Thanks! @2840737 Catergory - P7 |

Mousemarrie a dit : If by "pureply realys" you meant "purely relies" I think racing yould be a good category for you to start with. :D As Monster said, shaman might be easy for you to start off with as well. You could also try experimenting with soulmate/collision maps too. Carlcruz a dit : You should probably changea all of the grass grounds to stone with increments of 40 in length and at least 20 + in height (mainly due to the fact that grass grounds look better in vanilla maps with backgrounds). Any ground with only 10 pixels in length usually destroy a map aesthetically. I took a couple screenshots to help you. It might take a while to convert the grounds but it will help your map look a lot neater. If you need help pm me ingame. :~) Notice how the length, 200, is an increment of 40. It tends to look a lot nicer compared to .... & |

@2916410 by Physcolo: Alright! Lets get started. Not many suggestions, but I do have a few. 1: So, the map space seems a little thin. Is there in any way you can make the map a little bigger? 2: The cloud grounds seem rather random. They act like any other ground really, and it's not much of a challenge to build around them. 3: I used the left side of the map. Not once did I use the right. Okay, well good map. I see room for improvement though! Keep it up! ^^ @2915515 by Physcolo: Alrightyy. Suggestions! c: 1: I really liked the water part, I thought that was very new, and unique. The down side in my opinion to it, was I saw many deaths, and I saw one sham trying to trap himself in the water, and the board kept getting glitched. 2: Other than the water part, I didn't really think the map was very.. interesting. Perhaps make it a little more fun? Nothing more than that. You know I love your maps<3 ^^ @2916147 by Admshumaker: Alright, some suggestions. 1: Change the long STRAIGHT ice to grass. Quite annoying as shaman to slip and slide when it's not needed. 2: I don't really see anything new in this map.. Wasn't very fun to shaman. Perhaps, add another obstacle. Not a tough one, just an obstacle. It can be tough, because the map itself wasn't hard. Not much to comment on the map. I think this basically says it all in 2 comment. Keep trying! ^^ |

Betelgueze and Xendeavor don't seem to be participating right now in our policy-making process. I encourage them to at least contact our other members in-game and give an e-mail address or something just so I can add them to the application and policy voting. Remember we need a percentage of members to approve a new member, and a higher percentage for policies. This is done to ensure that our group operates according to the will of the majority. Not voting at all [even voting abstain is better than not voting at all] is not only denying you of your chance to be heard, but also it denies the group from getting enough votes to pass new applicants and policies. Dddin a dit : The path I let out is for the shortcut, which associate with the hole in the top left corner and all those ice. The tramp (I don't know if you had test it) has a restitution of 2, which at the height of the ice the mice came down, will have enough force to bounce them and running along the bottom of the ice, gaining force on the tramp on the left, and actually have enough power to reach the hole. I use the ice on the top left to block out short cj to reach hole, so they have to use the tramp, and (hopefully) get to the hole. Asside from that, all the other problem are being fix, THANK YOU! |

Monsterrs a dit : Hi~ :D @2915805 - Hidudelol Nice Magnemite, Hidudelol! :D The red X’s indicate the shaman and mouse spawns. It’s best to move them a little closer to the center of the map (even just 10 units closer would work fine) since mice/the shaman can die quite easily by lagging while moving the wrong direction when the map spawns. In this case, it doesn’t really affect gameplay, so it should be fine. You should add more contrast to the colors on the + symbols so they stand out more. The purple arrows are pointing to them. :D The white X’s show grass grounds that you could replace with a colored rectangle ground. I’m only suggesting this because I’ve played pokemon before and magnemite isn’t a ground/rock type pokemon so I know it can’t move dirt around. ^^” The colored rectangle could look like a steel bar being attracted to its magnets. You can also move the art a little lower (around 10 units should work fine) so the art doesn’t touch the tip of the map, and just so it looks a little more centered. (indicated by the yellow circle) Right now, the map is a rather poor “make it a shaman” art map. I suggest changing the gameplay since it feels as though the cheese and hole placements are quite random, and the solution is rather simple. I see that you’ve made some art/mechanism maps, you might be able to create some gameplay with the grounds (seemingly) being lifted by the magnemite. ^^ It could be an elevator/balancing scale sort of contraption, or something that would make it seem as though the pokemon itself is moving the grounds. However, if you wanted to stick with a shaman-map concept, (which I don’t recommend) here’s my thoughts on how to improve your map. You can move the floating ground on the left so that the shaman can’t just SP the mice to the cheese. You could also make it so that the art is more of an obstacle for the shaman. (How you will do so, I’m not too sure myself because the art is quite large) Be mindful not to make any off-screen gameplay for the shaman though! C: If you run out of grounds and are in need of more, here’s a few places that I noticed on the art that you can take away from. (In the event that you run out of grounds. The art looks great as it is) You can try an angle like this: http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/6/6c/081Magnemite.png By using this angle, you’re going to have to move the left magnet, the eye and the nails indicated by the purple arrows a little, but now you’ll be able to get rid of the grounds indicated by the blue arrows. Which should give you 4 more grounds to work with. |

@2917468 - Todorovski A basketball map! :O I like it, I don’t think I’ve seen one before. :D One thing I noticed about this map right away. Why do the mice spawn in a hole under the guy’s legs? I found it… awkward. I would suggest moving the basketball player a bit to the right using Temple’s map shifter, add collision to his other leg and place the spawn on the left side. (Not too close to the edge though) As for the gameplay, I think there is far too much wj in the map. One thing you could do to add some variety in the map, is set the ball to collision with mice, and add restitution to the basketball (balls are meant to be bouncy! :D About 1.1 or 1.2 restitution should work great) You can also add some other basketballs around the map that mice can jump on so that they can shoot into the hoop. I also noticed that the wooden ground at the bottom doesn’t completely fit into the map. Change the width to 800. ^^ Alright... here comes the hard part to explain. Instead of writing a lot, I built and took a picture of what I meant; I also provided the XML for the sample at the end of this post. :3 (Excuse my lack of detail and alignment, please. It’s getting late, I need to sleep and this is just an example anyways. ^^”) I like the clothes you made for him, but you can take it a step further with some subtle shading. :D Next, you could add more features to the face. (XML given because it’s quite complicated to explain in words) It’s just some ideas on how to create features on the face. C: For the hands, instead of clumping 2 grounds together like a star, try something more like the shape on the example. ^^ It makes it look more like a real hand. Also… from an artist’s point of view, the angle of the floor doesn’t make sense in relation to the rest of the map. If the floor is angled that way, and the net should also be angled, thinking realistically on a hoop in real life. Also, the floor texture shouldn’t suddenly switch to wood instead of a colored rectangle. I suggest turning it into a colored rectangle and blending it with the map.
