Well, no thanks. I'll remain brown and just accept the fact that I won't have a chance to run for a political office on a mouse game. (I see I'm not the only one who finds this ridiculous...)

I really hate this idea. Political conversations always become to be a fight. We have point in Forum Rules to not talk about politic and religion - so why should we make election in game? We should integrate players in good way, not make groups of haters.~

I think everybody needs to stop making assumptions that this is going to be something horrible. Nobody knows how its going to work, and what its going to entail. If people are going to end up being voted on, I could see possibilities for players to get really creative and end up making some really cool running campaigns or something. Who knows? We certainly don't. We should all just calm down and wait for an administrator to make an official statement about what's going to happen and take it from there.

"If implemented cautiously." You can't quote people and then completely disregard what they're saying. If this is in fact something that people are going to need to vote other people into, there are obviously going to be lazy people who don't care and will try bribing people into voting for them. People trying to abuse the gifting system was a problem before this, and will be a problem after this. You're just making examples of worst case scenarios for the sake of arguing because that's what you like to do.

This could potentially turn into something really fun, and give players who actually care a way to creatively express themselves in a positive, and beneficial way to the community. Who are we to jump the gun and automatically assume that this is going to be a disaster? You aren't taking into consideration that we know absolutely nothing about any of this, and without an administrator posting more information than a single picture, you accusing this as

I'm not going to bother responding to any more of your responses because I know that you will drag it out for another 5 pages, and I'm not here to beat a dead dog. I've made my original post, and I stand by it. Sorry that you can't see past your own head space and realize that this could be something fun for the community to get involved in.

All I'll say is this: the marriage, gift and trade system were meant to be fun and now they're god damned annoying thanks to kids begging. It won't change unless this community takes a turn.
