I made the website (with Thewav and Tarmacadam both adding/tweaking things after). It doesn't use WordPress, just a few PHP files that posts the application form to a database, which are then posted to the forums for us to discuss each applicant.

I'm not sure about CN, but EN just had a big round of hiring and likely won't have applications opened for at least another 6 months. You can keep an eye on if applications will be open here.

It is the only different, and if you just want to play the game, choose the free version.

The website isn't owned by Atelier 801 SARL. It's created, hosted and maintained by members of the volunteer staff teams and so is used "officially" for all volunteer staff position applications.

It's a thin line. What you do with your account is your business, however if you're offering items for accounts that would be against the rules I believe.
