I think you might be talking about Thejkb, who was 16 when he was modded. This was back in mid-2011 so there was no Atelier 801 and they didn't have to abide by French labor laws. When they became a company later that year they didn't have to remove him or any other underaged staff at the time because the law does not apply retroactively. He left the mod team on his own in 2012.

Goddski was also under 18, and a lot of sentinels were as well during that time (Oshoe, and I think Bob). I don't remember specifically. It was just the most public for Jacob because staff kept insisting the 18+ rule yet his profile clearly said sixteen. x)

In recent memory, there was a BR sentinel (and then modsent when he turned 18) who was 17, who was hired by Galaktine because they "really needed staff and he was close enough." He oddly was never removed, even though on his profile it clearly stated he was a few months shy of eighteen.

I don't know about DE, but I do know there was a Hungarian sentinel who lied about his age (Mestermarko)?
An EN map crew faked his ID and didn't reveal it until after his departure (Browndown).

Currently, there's no way to check your karma count. The only way to see it (I assume) is when you report a legit offense.
