Can somebody explain 'Karma' to me, Karma as in the part of tfm

Karma are the points you earn when you ban someone and this person gets banned, the more karma points you get , the more you get trusted by moderators.

So if you report someone to a moderator, and they dont actually get banned, do you lose Karma points? (if thats possible)

Some time ago Tig made it so that older maps (@sixdig) would play more, not sure if that's still the case now. I Was never told how that worked other than it being complicated to explain.

Because they want to be different, because they like that color, because the color helps their post. It could be any reason.
