| To clarify, of course reporting is the first thing you should do, before /ignore'ing them. However once you've reported, why not /ignore? Seems to me you'd be allowing a Mod to sanction where needed when they get around to it while also clearing up your own chat at the same time. There is also the argument that hackers are more important to deal with than people speaking a different language, and therefore hack reports will naturally get more attention than spam reports. |

| Wow 1 report - no one sees it is news to me. Thank god I sometimes have my tribe members look and help report the hackers (not to much with spammers since I feel it is easily rectified with /ignore unless it is racism/extremely offensive stuff) Yeah any French person I've ran across has rarely been a pewp (maybe because this game was originally based in France?) but every BR minus like..one (Tiqueh forever mah love) has been something of a blob of fail :c. I guess to fix the spammers it might be important to get some friends in the room and ask and help you with the reporting (though it could easily turn into one of those abusive things) Darnit Lew ninja;d me :c |

Lewbot a dit : You're missing the fact that only one report isn't going to do anything, though. What are we supposed to do about that? I went into more detail in a previous post.... And if we're just bringing in people to ban someone, we're really only becoming tyrants of the server (which became a problem a long time ago on EN1). Of course we can /ignore them, but it's a losing battle. Many of them have multiple accounts and it seems like more and more of them invade every day. |

| yeah if you bring in people to ban someone you'll most likely be banned for "ban abuse" |

| Oh, the irony. Btw, I've changed names, but this is the norm for these two. They hang around about this time every night on EN2, speaking French with each other in the main chat when they could easily IM. Hetchi a dit : I found myself in an EN2 room earlier today, and I think I ran into the same people you're quoting. No one had reported them, and I got more complaints than thanks for kicking them out.. There are too many players who just don't care :/ |

| In my opinion it is not the best solution to block a report if only one person is reporting. I've heard about it before and it made me a bit disappointed because that means most of the reports are ignored and that causes the community complains. People don't know how to report, that is true. But I guess it's not surprising you don't get many reports if the report system works like this. If there is a spammer/person from a different community in a room, most of the room does not care, some of them ignore him/her without reporting, some try to voteban the player and I wonder who actually decides to finally report the user. The bad thing is that if it's only one person reporting it, the report is not delivered therefore it ends up getting "Ignored". I know that moderators are trying their best and my guess would be that they are given a specific report system and to work with it is all they can do about it, but it is understandable that users complain about their reports getting ignored if mods can't even see them. In this case a feel a bit sad seeing that people are blaming mods for something they are not able to change/solve. I understand that it's difficult to implement a system like this and the game owners want to please everyone /mods and users which I don't think it's possible to make everyone happy/ but if it stays like this I'd say users should be encouraged to report people from different communities that are spamming the EN2 rooms. Ignore is a great feature but if people want to stop and solve the problem, they'd better start reporting. |

| In early versions of the report system, single report reports did show up, it was horribly spammy and many real reports were covered by, lets say 1 person who just ran through 3 rooms reporting everyone and adding 75 fake reports straight onto the list. Honestly, if enough of the room don't care to the point where there's only one person actually reporting I see that as very low priority. Changing room to one which does care would serve you much better than sticking it out alone and getting frustrated when your singular concerns are ignored because we cannot see them. I agree though that reporting needs to be encouraged more. |

| Sadly, I can imagine the reports spam and I can agree that if there is only one person reporting, it probably won't be as important. But as I know the general attitude of our community, they like to complain more than actually report the issue ^^; |

| I started reporting in the IRC chat instead of in-game report, and it's more effective. Just sayin'. |

| Yeah, IRC tends to help. Most of the mods are available on there even when they don't play. |

Katburger a dit : The complaints were probably from a few of the people that speak both French and English... there's a lot of them. And those two specific mice are back today, btw. I've had conversations in-game about this with other people and it's not that they don't care - it's that nothing ever seems to get done about it, reporting or not, so what's the point? They've pretty much just accepted the fact that EN2 is unfortunately going to turn into EN1. I'll have to give IRC a try sometime. I hate bugging people, but my reports aren't ever heard. |

| This game should really have an automated system where your IP adress is checked and it will find the location of your country that you are currently in and it will redirect you to the correct server you are meant to be in. If the certain country flag isn't there/Your own country doesn't have their own servers then you will be redirected to EN1. I know it will be hard to do this but I don't think it was hard when they allowed Fraises to be bought for French users only So I think this would be a piece of cake to do. |

| That'd be nice, but I'm assuming a hassle. It'd be nice because not only would it keep languages separate (other than on EN1) but it would keep people from getting banned on a server for hacking and then just skipping over to another one. |

Hetchi a dit : But once there banned they're banned from the game itself they cannot get back on also if you are banned you cannot change the server to get unbanned. Also I said that you wil only be redirected to your nation server you cannot change servers. Yes if you think it's unfair because you cannot meet up with friends thats why ./room *<Name> was made. |
