I rather change the numbers instead of the items though.

If this happens, tig will have so much to fix with his limited shaman items coding. However I support because I want to see unlimited springs on every map.

Yeah I don't see this happening anytime soon. If at all. Not sure why a change to the hotkeys would mean limitations on special items are removed though.. could you explain why you think that is?
