It's a mix of people caring about stats, people coming on for their friends, for events, or they're coming on to collect cheese for outfits. There might be other reason, but those are the only ones I can post off my head.

not sure if ppl more caring for 1sts could be referred to statpads. big part of them are doing cause theyre too inconsistent to earn shit theirselves. and straight to the question, yes.

of course there are always occasions of this. plenty of brasilians and other "pros" who pad for purpose to show off

some do, havent encountered much thankfully enough to avoid a flamewar

depends from the person itself, you cant really judge from the stats itself. i know some pads who are quite big but very friendly or neutral towards people

yah before it never really was abt stats and that's when tfm was way more fun

if the statpads and the rise of favoers and hackers aint enough of a sign to tell that this community is mainly degrading for stats, then im not sure what else will since these main two features you can find around you on tfm everytime
