Wait, if somebody asks to be a judge, you just automatically make them a judge ? Are you looking at their judging skills to make sure that these arts are not poorly judged?

I made sure they were people I trust enough to know they were worthy of judging

Judging isn't that hard lol. It all depends on opinion in cases like this.
