But the admins said from now on, starting from the end of the Halloween Event, it will be just continuous events. So it would make sense for the new event to start on the same day.

This thread was made immediately after it was confirmed, so I don't see why we need to wait for this year's event to happen first before we can speculate. The thread isn't called [Event Discussions] Christmas 2014; it's titled "The Christmas Event!" so we're still able to talk about past Christmas events.

I don't know if I will be participating in this year's Christmas event, but I'm still interested in Christmas cookies and teddy bears.

its quite bothersome on previous christmas event. because you need to gather only 5(i think so) toys. and you need to give to elf and plus a laggy map (because fireworks). i hope improve more c;

YES! lets all hope that 2012 is back. since, it would be really fun to do, and so on. i enjoyed 2012 the huge most right there. including the gifting process. and hopefully, a better nice event would come in, where its less harder and stressful for us anyways.
ps - .. and of course.. us will be back. we already set up everything for the things to be ready to go again :)
