Honestly... do Valentine's cause it's kind of annoying to have an event that is a big thing in one country.. I'm canadian. I don't care about carnival stuff. Valentines is more widely known i think.

I'm guessing the event won't be until the last minute anyways, steam release has probably been top priority (and rightfully so). Hopefully it won't have an affect on the event though...

Carnival is a bit different from the Brazilian Carnaval that you hear a lot about. It's more or less a Catholic celebration, therefore way more than just Brazil celebrate it; in fact, most of the communities tied into this game celebrate it.
You should give this a read and broaden your horizons a bit past Carnaval do Brasil.

Ikr but carnival it's not that big deal worldwide (and i'm italian lol). It's a single day. And it's undeniable that all carnivals events are linked to the brasilian one. It'd be fancy to see something more international for a single time.

Even so, Transformice's version of Carnival has always clearly been all about Brazil and their version of the holiday. Last year they even specifically stated that the event items were all tied to Bahia culture. And I totally get that; it makes sense to cater to your largest demographic. But there's no point in trying to deny it :P

Personally I would like to see a Valentine's event this year because I've always liked the items that come with those events.

Ah, I'm not attempting to deny anything; I'm just annoyed by people who automatically assume Carnival = Brazil when that's not the case. Other countries celebrate it as well.
