There's no age demographic. TFM isn't geared towards any age or age range, but you need to be 13 or older to join without your parent or guardian's permission.

Teens and young adults mostly, I'd say 13-25 should constitute the main audience. Older, I don't really care, I'm not the boss of what a full grown adult does in their free time. But I don't think anyone younger than 12 should be playing this game at all.

There's an option to filter the chat.
You can also ignore people to stop seeing their messages.
I also think there should be an option to disable the whole chat itself, though, which would prevent children from seeing inappropriate things as well.
