I don't see any need in this. In my opinion, one soulmate is enough. I'm pretty sure your two or more soulmates would be angry/upset that you married someone else. It's basically cheating. Even though this is just a game, a few things are similar to real life.

If you want to be 'married' to multiple mice, you can roleplay that. You shouldnt need the game to implicate marrying 5 people to satisfied.
Anyways, it would be a bad idea for children to introduce them to being in a relationship with multiple people. (Also known as affairs)

it's not madatory... I mean, if you don't want multiple spouses, only marry one.And if you don't want your spouse to have other spouses, that's something you should discuss before you marry them:P

if people are really stupid enough to marry random people without even discussing what their stance in marriage is then they deserve to get hurt if another party decides to follow a different path, as you should have atleast known eachother enough to tell if you were the only one for them BEFORE you married them :P also a certain amount of trust is needed, but then again...it is just a mouse game.

tldr: if you don't want it, just marry one. You can't force your spouse to abide by certain rules, that's why there's trust in any relatioship

It doesn't matter if a lot of children play this game. Introducing polygamy or multiple partners (that are all consenting) is an excellent idea to show that monogamous relationships are not the only kind of relationship you can have. We already have no discrimination on gay marriage in the game, so why not polygamy? There's no harm in this. Many homophobic parents would say they wouldn't want to introduce their children to gay marriage. Many monogamous parents would say they wouldn't want to introduce their children to polygamous relationships.

People usually just use the marriage feature to indicate strong friendship than an actual relationship. If the polygamous marriage feature was implemented, why not allow them to use the marry feature however they like?

Anyways, yeah I like this idea a lot.
