Why

Because it's getting all of Atelier's attention and here in Transformice we get no bug fixing, no events, nothing.

With flash going to die by 2020, they are probably going to roll out tfma before then and they'll probably abandon tfm because tfma is the "future". Besides, everyone who wants tfma are hyped about it, more so than they are about tfm because new things are shinier than old things.

There is a standalone version from steam

i personally don't like downloading things on my computer. Everything is more accessible from the web. If they don't change it into html or some other alternative, i'll stop playing.

i don’t understand how it’s “overdramatising” because there have been no responses in the last month from the admins about this. the mods and sentinels have replied, yes and good on them for doing so, but for this not to be fixed and to have no direct responses about it online is frusterating.

i don’t care if they’re busy making a new game because i’m sure they could pause their work on TFMA and fix this issue then go back. to me, this just shows how little they really care about the community and/or the game itself and i’m sure others feel this way too.

all i can say is at least the sentinels and moderators are active in this discussion. it seems like sometimes they are the only staff who will even acknowledge the concerns of the players. a big thank you to them :).

TFMA's Kickstarter failure has impacted how often the Admins can be active on working on Transformice and the forums in this matter. With Stardev7 (Forum Developer) no longer on the Admin team since last March, Pikashu struggles with managing to fix forum bugs by themselves as it's not their area of expertise. The avatar bug is more complex than taking a day to fix it and be over and done with it. There are other LUA developers also volunteering to look into this issue and have suggested multiple ways to try and counteract this bug and help fix it alongside Pikashu. There are plenty more major issues happening currently than not being able to change your avatar.

White I understand it's infuriating to not see public responses from Admins, please understand A801 is going through rougher times ever since their Kickstarter for TFMA was cancelled. The most we can really do at this point is wait longer.

was it not cancelled by themselves? there's no excuse for this, it's happened before and fixed in less than 12h, even if the other forum devs don't know how to fix it surely it would be done in less than two weeks ??? they can't just slack because a project failed

I don't understand how urging to have it fixed is being over dramatic. It's a feature that's part of the game and the forums. It's completely fine to complain about it not being fixed for a while now. Being over dramatic about it would be taking it to court or boycotting the game or whatever. Just because you guys don't care about it as much as other people do, doesn't mean you should invalidate other people's complain that gives more importance to it than you do.
