I don't think the event is coming. I think the skills are the event

There no 'actual' event. In this event, there will probably be only shaman-related updates. The Shaman Event is replacing V-day and the Carnival. They couldn't do V-day or the Carnival because they were too busy making the skill trees. So, I guess that's when they decided to make a Shaman Event..

What about the Carnival fur? It'll come as a sale only without an event? Ahh.

Honestly I'm pretty glad that atelier is doing this 'shaman event' even though it's not an actual event.

Unlike the spoiled brats here who can't see past their own wants, it's pretty obvious what Atelier is doing. There are an OVERWHELMING amount of suggestions for the shaman part of the game play ((Some of which are customizible key mappings, shaman themed items, and equipping shaman items to outfits, not to mention possible new modes/badges))

And with trying to create an ENTIRE new event and keep it running smoothly, Atelier is certainly not going to have enough time or manpower to focus on adding these shaman updates everyone has been wanting.

Thus, I'm pretty glad that they're taking a certain time frame to just focus on these updates, while yes, I am a little disappointed that there won't be an actual event, I can see both sides of the coin and can wait until easter. For now, I'll just enjoy these shaman updates.

Ah well the last year they made both V- day and Carnaval so this year is time for something new :P

Except if they actually bothered to read any of those suggestions, they wouldn't have churned out something as stupidly gamebreaking and overall overpowered as the new skill trees. It doesn't help matters that the new skills that aren't absurdly overpowered seem to be generic flavor content or rehashed versions of older skills for the express purpose of fluffing up the quota of two complete skill trees.

Because there's a whole lot of those things that you listed that actually came with this "event".

So why not simply use an older Valentine's event? I'm sure most players wouldn't mind and would certainly prefer that to having absolutely no Valentine's event at all.

How about idunno not stretching those events for months past their expiration date in the first place? Or better yet, not rehashing bullshit grindfests like the relic system for like every single event that force completionists to have to spend months on them?
