It doesn't work for posts that weren't reported, and it probably doesn't affect posts that were dealt with before the update.

Overlooked dates, And it doesn't. Look at recently deleted post and it worked.

What if someone reported it a long time ago, it was dealt...but then something else happens and you cant report it?

I'm guessing that doesn't really happen a lot :P In that case, it's fine to contact a sentinel or report the post below.

Then you could either talk with a sentinel in-game or via IRC or report a post below it if it's an issue.

Okay, why not..

-Suggestion-

When someone reports a post then it appears in the report log thing (whatever u call it) and whenever anyone reports the same post in the next like 15 minutes, then the report wont appear for sents.

OR

When someone reports a post then 'reported and dealt with' appears on that post and only like 15 minutes it can be reported again.

It's fine as it is, you can always report any other post in the thread and/or direct the sents to the OP in your report reason.
