Ifrancesco a dit : My friend just recently got banned for 7 days after posting a jumpscare in cafe. I can understand though, I don't think its very appropriate. Dernière modification le 1435753560000 |

Ifrancesco a dit : As Paggy summed up, yes. For a more detailed reason: Jumpscares can actually cause serious issues for people with heart problems or those prone to seizures and therefore will be banned if posted in-game. People like to post them to be funny but don't always notice just how serious they are. Dernière modification le 1435753560000 |

Here comes another dumb question. Is it possibe to repost something innapropriate someone said on a public room, but the person who originally posted it is not banned except you are banned? |

rainboworder a dit : It depends on whether or not the mod sees the first post. Usually in that sort of situation I will warn the person reposting the inappropriate chat before I sanction them, and of course the first person would be sanctioned as long as I saw them committing the offense. |

If I report someone and I log out, if a moderator ban him, I'll receive karma? |

Zzmacth a dit : Tested this, you have to be online to receive karma. However, you do get karma even if you go offline after reporting, but log back in before whoever you reported gets banned. |

Can I ask how the reports works? Sometimes I ask random people with low Karma (new players or people that usually do not report) to report a hacker and even if we do that and we're 3-4 or more players no mod shows up nor the player is banned, But when me and another player with a real high karma (almost 200 and just the two of us) report someone it gets banned in a matter of 1-2 maps. Does the karma actively influence how mods see the reports or is it just a long chain of coincidences? TL;DR Is it more efficient to report someone with in group of player with low karma or the report of a single player with huge karma affects more the report system. Damn I don't know how2question sorry. Dernière modification le 1435794420000 |

While I honestly do take high karma into account, mods look at all reports regardless of the karma, low karma is fairly common anyways because places like EN and small communities do not get so many hackers while people who frequent hotspots like room 1 of huge servers can and do get alot of karma. And our system does not seperate reports by karma. |

The answer will vary depending on which mod you speak with. I'll say what I look for though Best case scenario, I want a report with over 4 reports, within the same time frame, comments, and for the reported player to have low karma. These reports are almost always accurate and don't waste my time. Basically the more reports there are from diff people, the more likely the report is accurate. When I see a player with two reports, one 15 minutes ago and one a few minutes old, it's less probable and I'm less likely to check it as opposed to others I look at karma for reports, though I know quite a few mods who don't use it. I would say the more reports, the more likely it'll be checked this being said, if you leave a comment about what kind of hack it is, the report is more appealing to check. For example if there is a instawin hacker, put that in the comment box, that makes me, personally, more likely to choose the report |
