Spiritual Review Hello fellow shamans, We've got some new interesting maps and a lot of map updates for you this month. Unfortunately, I will be taking a step back in the team as my life has become too bussy to manage the room like I would want to. Luckily we have a strong team who will be able to fill my void. I will keep playing and will remain in an admin, however, will focus more on playing the game then on working on it for now. Additionally, for those of you who feel like helping/working on certain aspects of spiritual like the code, map updates, difficulty updates or something else, we're always searching for new enthousiastic team members. Results from Previous Review: Accepted (6) Arnees - @7849705 - Difficulty 8 Arnees - @7827777 - Difficulty 9 Require edits: Attomake - @7846804 - Difficulty 9: Please update this map to your updated version of @7853414 and please add a wood ground under the shaman to so he can build more conveniently. Plubio - @7852651 - Difficulty 9: Please make the solid ice anticloud like in the original version. Anthonyjones - @341336 - Difficulty 8: Replace the xml with the one in @7860266. Zmiji#0000 - @7847404 - Difficulty 9: Replace the xml with the one in @7860297. Feel free to decorate the map. Rejected (38) Feniksboy - @7842287: Certainly a very interesting map, however, map balance doesn't feel optimal yet. the intended solution from the right is really interesting. @7845607 is also a very interesting version. Uhuge - @5562153: The mech in this map is great, however, we would like to use it more interestingly with more interesting solutions. The mech could work with a different building/concept. Attomake - @7844666: While the map layout is done well the map doesn’t really push the interesting builds we want to see in spiritual. Attomake - @7844860: Map has a good idea no doubt, but it is too confusing at the moment and to awkward to build on. I liked the stability concept at the shamspawn though, maybe you should focus on that. Attomake - @7849416: Interesting map, however, awkward to build on as there is no real support in the shaman cage. Attomake - @7849985: The idea is definitely interesting and think this can definitely get in in some way or form. However, the current version feels like it does not have enough solution and is really difficult to sham in. Wildrix - @7846431: We tried to make an updated version to give the sham some more room to build (@7860415), however, the hole part remains to simple unfortunately. Wildrix - @7846696: The setup is nice but the map doesn't incentivize the interesting solutions spiritual is looking for. Wildrix - @7847823: The concept of the map is not interesting enough. Anthonyjones - @318496: Map got some really interesting points, however, needs more work as it is unforgiving and frustrating to build on. acid on walls and roofs is a real pain to deal with, there is too much acid, only keep the essential parts. Anthonyjones - @374235: The map is good in teaching new players the anticloud concept. However, at the moment there are cramped spots (hole, gap between acids) and the acid roof is annoying. These needs to be fixed. Also, it may not become too much of a buildathon. Piionze - @758523: While there is nothing wrong with the concept, spiritual already has several swing maps. Additionally, the squished cage makes it awkward to build on the right. Piionze - @7843466: The concept is nice and could work, but in the current version, the cage is too restrictive and is awkward to build on. Therefore a lot of the difficulty comes from the limitations of the shaman. Piionze - @7846713: While the intended solution is cool, the small cage makes it very awkward to work with and use any other solutions. Additionally the acid ground could be replaced with an anticloud ice. Piionze - @7846775: While we do think there can be some fun in building to the cheese, the cage is awkward again, we would really like an anticloud cage and extend the cage to the left and top. It would probably be a good map then, unsure if there would be enough solutions though. Ferdamys - @7426512: The map needs a base as it is a pain to build on right now. Ferdamys - @7485771: Map is confusing and awkward to build on at the moment, the fake acid is strange even though we know you probably intended it to show that the wall is anticheat. Ferdamys - @7486276: This has an interesting concept, unfortunately, we couldn't find many fun solutions, and most solutions involved cannoning the mice up to the hole. If you could show us interesting solutions we might change our opinion. Ferdamys - @7849229: This map has the same issues as the other version, however the other version is more interesting in our opinion. Additionally, the anticloud walls are really confusing. Zmiji#0000 - @7847208: The map has very interesting challenges. However, there is insufficient space to make interesting solutions for the top side. Also a swing overrules all other solutions on the top side. We don't see how to fix this easily, therefore, it is rejected. Zmiji#0000 - @7847367: The map is decent, like the car solutions especially, however it is difficult to build on. We tried to make an updated version, however, it remained constricted and the hole felt awkward. Reidobalon - @638640: The map got all the basics right, but doesn't create a new and exciting gameplay. Reidobalon - @683054: The map got all the basics right, but doesn't create a new and exciting gameplay. Reidobalon - @3310960: Interesting map, however, it needs more grounds to allow more interesting builds. Reidobalon - @3802728: This is a concept that could work for the lower difficulties. Can you edit it so that there isn't a double spawn and that the shaman can't die in the cage? Reidobalon - @2143574: Map doesn't create new and exciting gameplay. Ruanndo - @7850625: The fact that there are no solid grounds makes this map really difficult to build in. The concept is really interesting though and could definitely fit in the room some way. Arnees - @7851000: Arnees - @7849450: Arnees - @7851204: The use of b makes the bottom path considerably easier than the top path. Mohsinmemon - @7851684: Interesting use of apples, however, the execution is unsatisfactory and the map is really awkward to sham on. There is also no reason for the walls to be acid. Mohsinmemon - @7851723: Same as the other version of the map in submission. Plubio - @7852706: The cramped building area feels too suffocating, especially since it is acid. We suggest raising the ceiling to allow more solutions. Bigerrol - @7849695: It's easily solved with swings and existing maps already do this concept. The symmetric layout also does not help. Bigerrol - @7849699: The idea is interesting, however with the current layout the shaman does not need to use any stabilizing techniques. Bigerrol - @7836002: It's unenjoyable for the shaman to constantly move back and forth to get their desired range. The concept is also easily breakable as the shaman can escape without much effort. Bigerrol - @7838740: Map has an interesting concept that can work in spiritual. However the execution isn't good enough and the map isn't balanced. runing boards on the acid seems to be easier than other solutions. Bigerrol - @7838229: The map is frustratingly long and the cloud ground to build off of is too low to be enjoyable. Removed (5) Thegbc#0020 - @6661666: Interesting and unique concept, but it's too confusing for low-diff shamans. Dukeonkled - @6279038 : Mice glitch through shaman objects too easily. Temporarily removed until a fix is found. Nebelwolfi - @6595397 : Interesting concept, however the map is poorly executed. Audkyrie#3896 - @294874: Confusing layout and the mech breaks too easily. Soultouch - @528312: Switch sometimes doesn't activate. Temporarily removed until a fix is found.
