If you ignore a person, you obviously don't want to hear from them. So if they evade that ignore..... yeah. It's only logical.

Is that a bannable offense? If so, was it always against the rules? I remember asking mods if they can do anything about people who kept making accounts just to say rude things, and their response were along the lines of "Suck it up and ignore them" (circa. 2010 - 2014)

Assuming nothing has changed, if it can be proven and is done multiple times, it is indeed punishable (speaking from experience of someone who filed a harassment complaint against a user).
